I went along with her when she came to visit and wanted to check out the practice and its prices. The clinic doesn't just do botox, its does a plethora of skin related treatments. From tattoo removal, microdermabrasion, laser hair removal, skin peel (that sounds scary in itself) acne treatment and teeth whitening amongst other things. It has ridiculously pretty receptions staff but I think that's to make your feel like you need the treatments more. This hair dressers and beauty salon is professional looking but not too expensive. It does try to cover a lot of bases, offering waxing, nail treatments, hair cuts and colouring, facials, eye lash treatments, fake tanning and massage. They even have special packages and offers - wedding packages, make up lessons, NUS/OAP discounts and hospital staff. I can't speak for all the treatments but they do a good wax, offering underarm, half a leg and standard bikini for £20. The staff are friendly too. This salon is unisex so, importantly, offers many wax and beauty treatments to men as well as women

I have been wanting to get my nails done here since it first opened but never got round to booking…read morein. The salon is really inviting and the decor is lovely which for some reason made me think it would be great. My friend wanted her nails doing and I said to try here as it looked very professional and there was a current offer on acrylics. She got a set of acrylics done which were said to last 3-6 weeks.... 2 days later her nails had all fallen off! She asked me to come to the salon with her to complain and try get her money back. I never expected to see what I did.... The manager accepted no responsibility at all and blamed the nail technician who wasn't in work that day.  A few minutes later a lady came in with exactly the same problem, all her nails had dropped off. The manager did not deal with the situation well at all and instead stood looking uninterested and bored. He then ended up saying you can both get refunds if you just go away. What a great way to deal with a complaint! Now for the shocking part.... During this time there were customers coming in and having their eyebrows threaded. What I couldn't believe is that not once did any of the beauticians sanitise their hands or the clients face before or after threading. Clients were being threaded with makeup on! I could not believe what I was seeing as this is the most basic piece of health and safety! Luckily I escaped this place myself but what I saw definitely opened my eyes. Avoid this place at all costs unless you want some seriously bad customer service or worse, a terrible infection.

A little while ago I decided I should treat myself to something new…read more I'd never had a professional massage before but had often spotted vouchers in various discount sites. Unfortunately these were invariably in places not easily or cheaply accessed by public transport. Then I found one for DepiCool, a clinic in the centre of Leeds. Perfect! I rang and spoke to Tyanne, who was very helpful and booked and appointment with her for an aromatherapy massage the following week. As I was a new customer I was asked to complete a health survey before we started and we discussed one or two issues, including whether there were any area I felt needed particular treatment or any I'd prefer to avoid. I was then shown into a treatment room which was darkened and lit with candles. I took off my jewellery and we decided which oil mixture I preferred. I was then left alone to undress, climb onto the couch and cover myself with the towels provided. Tyanne came back in and began the massage starting at my feet and working her way up while I lay on my back. She then held the towels up to screen me as I turned onto my stomach. The couch had a hole for my face!! Altogether it was probably the most relaxing hour I've ever spent and it I had the money I would be there every week. As it is I'm saving up to go back. The only issue that I had was that a step to get up onto the couch would have been useful as I'm very short. I did mention that to Tyanne and she she said that she would look at buying one now that she was aware it might be an issue.
