The parking lot could be a little larger with more spaces... once a few people and moving trucks show up at the same time it makes everything a little crazy. The building is protected by a security keypad and cameras to make you feel safer. I have found a few mouse droppings on top of/in my accessible boxes after leaving my belongings on-site but no boxes had been eaten into (nosey meeces). No food is permitted on-site in case you were wondering. Hopefully that problem gets rectified immediately. I understand that the rodent could have hitched a ride from another patron or broken in from outside of the unit but hopefully the staff have protocols in place to tackle these pests. Other than that the parking lot and interior of the building stay pretty clean. Unfortunately an unplanned factory phone reset erased my pictures.

She sent over all the paperwork to sign. However, there were glitches with using my phone. I later signed in person and it was easy and took just minutes. It's easy to drive onto their property and unload, or load right outside your storage locker. They can accommodate large and tall trucks. You must provide your own lock, they also sell them. I'm unsure how large they offer, but I got a 5x15. I would recommend. The only reason not a five is dealing with signing paperwork.

When I drove up to the facility it looks spectacular from the hwy 29. My code worked, I found my unit with the green tag just as the representative advised me. The unit was super clean , the climate control hallway was clean the facility is well lit at night! My move her was just perfect! I drove down to Charlottesville on Saturday to move things out of my mom's old house into storage. We arrived to the storage site with a truck full of stuff. No one was around at the office but there was a sign to call a # if you needed help. So we did that and within 5 mins the manager came cruising a long on this golf cart. He got us checked in, gave me the lock and key, and lead us to the unit. The unit was clean and easy to access. The door is easy to open as well as the lock. They also give you a personal security code for the gate (to get in and out). We moved another truck load of stuff that afternoon. They said they do not have flooding in that area (unlike other storage unit places in Charlottesville) so that's good. They have also been around for almost 12 years and I got 2 positive references from other people which is why I chose to go here. They are also the same price as most other places and not the most expensive. I am paying $80 a month for my 5 x 10 unit. I chose not to get climate controlled (more expensive) + they were already sold out. The manager guy who I worked with over the phone was always quick to call me back and helpful. The only thing is that he talks real fast, I mean REAL FAST and you can't really understand anything he is saying even when sitting across from him in his office. I just nodded my head acting like I knew what was going on, but really I had no clue! He knows what he's doing though as he's been working there for over 11 years. My favorite thing about the place is it's isolation feeling from the rest of the sitting. It's very green in that area - lots of trees and tons of birds chirping away. It was a peaceful setting moving all that stuff.
