It's very conveniently located in a mall, the ladies are VERY quick with their work, and they do a wonderful job! It's also very reasonably priced. I absolutely recommend stopping by here with your dresses and suits and alteration needs, especially if you're near the mall in the first place.

It was a simple jersey knit, but had a bunch of beaded panels that I wanted removed. The lady helpfully pointed out that without the beading and mesh, the cowl neck of the dress would likely not stay up. She offered to make a back strap out of the mesh to connect the back shoulders, and it came out perfect! I got the simple neckline I was after, without worrying about flashing my whole top half. It wasn't anything I would have thought of on my own, but I so appreciate the advice and wonderful tailoring. Hands down, best tailor ever!

It's a small little shop on the corner, but it is wonderful in there. There are crystals, stones, books, amulets, charms, herbs, oils, tarot, jewelry, everything you can think of. The prices are super reasonable too. The owner is really nice. He let someone bring their ginormous dog in so she didn't have to leave him outside. Anyone that loves dogs, is good in my book :) I will be back to buy some things before I go back home tomorrow :)

I came here for an event with a big group of my music fraternity sisters and The Fire accommodated…read morewell with a private room for us in the back. They told us we could pick out what we wanted (painting pottery or melting glass together). I ended up selecting a small vase and I went to town on finding the right colors. We all really enjoyed painting out respective pieces and it was actually harder than I thought! I used a bunch of different-sized brushes so I could get the right amount of detail for certain parts of my design. There weren't very many staff members around to help if we had any questions, but I honestly can't think of any questions we might have. It's pretty straightforward: pick out your piece, pick out your paint, and go to town painting it! One of my sisters later picked up the box of all our decorated pieces, so I didn't have any more interaction with the employees there. I had a really fun experience here; there's nothing quite like relaxing with a paintbrush and hanging out with friends, even if you're no Van Gogh. Tips: Be sure to check the little swatch that shows you how the paint colors turn out after being fired up in the kiln. I wasn't observant enough, and my vase turned out a robin egg blue when I was expecting a royal blue. Also, I recommend writing your name on the bottom, just in case!
