When my child would tell a teacher (who by the way should be supervising) the teacher once told her "don't let that upset you, now go back to playing". NEVER reported the incident or anything. Director told me that "kids will be kids" when I told her that my child cries everyday. PLEASE do not ENROLL your child in this facility. I later found out that I'm not the only parent who went through this with them! Bullying is highly serious and should not be taken lightly at all. All this woman cares about is money versus the safety of your child. Is that who you want to leave your child with for 8+ hours??

In those 10 years, that went way too fast, there was never a day after dropping him off that I worried about his well-being, safety, education, social interactions, Christian development, or overall happiness. The very reasonable tuition was money well spent. Would that these reviews had no word limits. I would go into depth about our experiences in each grade. Everything begins with a stellar staff. From my very first interaction with the pre-k teacher and aide on my son's very first day of school ever, I was put at ease. From day one all the way through 8th grade graduation, I felt blessed to have found this gem. When we were there they offered hot lunch every day, before and after care, field trips, summer camp, CYO Athletics, a super fabulous science curriculum, and weekly Mass. With hindsight now I can see that St. Ambrose prepared my son for the rigors of high school with its looming academic and social challenges. St. Ambrose helped my son become a better student and a young man who lives by the Gospels but never too preachy. He made lifelong friends and had soooo much fun while learning. My 4-year-old knew middle schoolers by name, and they were always kind role models to the little ones. Plus, SHE IS NOT OUR PARENT. and all we did to her was just turn around and she said that we were disrespectful. The administrator/owner of the center is always cheerful around the parents, although I'm sure behind the scenes it is much different for the personnel. My suggestions for the center would be to upgrade some of the "old school" look of the center such as the TV and maybe the color and wood. Lots of ants are complained about by my child. Additionally, some of the fees are steep but somewhat manageable because you are to break up the payments if the need arises. Summer fees are not really explained especially when you are providing the lunch. Graduation fees are ridiculous since they will not be able to wear the gown again because of size and color. A graduation hat with them wearing white would be more reasonable financially or maybe a program where you give them back and just borrow them for that day. PreK graduation is not essential IMO.
