The shower drain is not centered in the pan and a poorly placed water bib interfered with the kitchen counter sink install. When it came time to have my tankless water heater installed I knew I did not want them coming back to do it. Even the master plumber that I hired to do the WH install mentioned that they did some "strange things". I'm going with the master plumber and his team to finish out our house. Perhaps these guys are great for your basic plumbing needs, but I can't recommend them for net new construction.

They cleaned carpets in my mother's vacant house. They did a nice job on the carpets - no…read morecomplaints about that. However, they turned the AC thermostat down to 62 and left it. I live out of town and didn't know that until I went to the house about six weeks later. When I realized the AC had been turned so low for so long, I checked the AC unit in the basement to find the ceiling pipe completely iced over and water coming out the bottom of the unit. That explained why the electricity bill was six times higher than normal. We had to hire a plumber to fix the AC. I thought Deep South should share some of the expense since the problem was their fault. I called them and explained the situation. The person who answered the phone said she would tell her boss and they would get back to me. I haven't heard from them since and don't expect to. The job cost me far more than the cost of the cleaning ($400). And they took no responsibility. Hence the one star. I'd say be cautious if you use them.
