I unfortunately was injured in a car accident. I was referred to Princeton orthopedic as the local…read moreplace to go. To be fair, it seems to be a busy and well organized practice. My interactions with the front desk was always helpful and informative. They also handled the covid situation well. They chose the physician who they felt would suit my injury best and placed me with Dr. Michael Grenis. Because of the nature of the injury, I was squeezed in for an appointment pretty quickly. With my first visit, Dr. Grenis seemed short with me and didn't explain anything to me. I chalked it up to being squeezed into his assuming busy schedule. I was examined and x-rayed and outfitted with a new splint. The physician assistant was warm and attentive. My second appointment was not as pleasant. Aside from the fracture in my wrist, I had a lot of pain in my arm that was noticeably bruised and swollen. It kept me up at night and hurt much more than my wrist. He didn't mention anything about it at the initial appointment aside from that it wasn't broken. So when I returned, I asked him to check it again because it was causing so much pain. Dr. Grenis' barked at me 'what do you want surgery??' 'It's a hematoma'. I seek a professionals advice because I'm not a doctor. I never understood what a hematoma was, nor had he mentioned that that's what it was. Nothing was explained to me what it was, about treatment for it, or what I could do for the pain. When he returned to the room I think he realized that he crossed a line and tried to amend his error. Too late. His behavior was intimidating and undermining. I was offered a review in email but didn't want to make it worse for myself.

What has happened to Princeton Orthopedics?…read more My family have been patients for over 15 years and in the past few years, have seen a slow decline in the quality. They used to have very pleasant and helpful front desk staff. Now, they are surly (Monroe location especially) and are almost nasty when asked for help. They have kiosks to check in where your ID and credit card are scanned. There are older patients who aren't familiar with computers and I actually watched a few people yelled at! What type of customer service is that? It now takes over 10 minutes on hold to make an appointment. Really? You may even be transferred to a different schedule who never picks up and he has an attitude if you ever get through. Lastly, the cleanliness has gone away. It is a medical office! The Monroe office floor is dirty like it hasn't been cleaned in a long time. Old dried out alcohol pads, dirt, bandages with dark, dried stains, gross. I am looking elsewhere, goodbye Princeton Orthopedics. You used to feel good going from soup to nuts, the desk to the doctor. Now, something has changed. I miss just a few years ago.

I've been a patient with IPM since 2009 with Failed fusion syndrome. I started seeing Dr Yanni. …read more He was an extremely caring and kind hearted man. He treated my pain in whatever way he could to help me. He listened to me. I felt as if he became a friend who I could always count on. Dr B Yanni left the practice a few years later. I then met Dr Poonia who is also an amazing warm and caring pain doctor. He listened to everything I had to say without ever making me feel rushed. . He has an air of confidence about him that lets you fully trust him. Because of scheduling I had to switch again. Around 2014 or 15, I met Dr Mir. There are no words to describe this doctor; to give you an idea, here are just a few that I've experienced in the 10+years she's been my doctor. She is, first and foremost, an amazing listener. I never feel that she is in a rush or that what I have to say isn't important. She's extremely sympathetic to all of my problems. She's a very warm and personable person filled with compassion! She has gone above and beyond to try to find every and anything that will help give me pain relief so that I can have some normalcy to my life. ! I think I gave just a FEW WORDS! Obviously, if anyone is looking for a Pain Management Dr., I highly recommend Dr.Mir. I recommend Interventional Pain Management .

I broke my elbow and called around to find a doctor that took my insurance. I called Mid Atlantic Orthopedic Associates and provided my insurance information. They said they accept my insurance and I made an appointment for later in the week. When I arrived at my appointment I asked if I would owe more then my copay and I was told "it should be ok." When I asked what "should be ok" meant they said "don't worry about it" and rushed me a bit into the exam room. I was in so much pain with my elbow that I just did whatever they said. I feel that they exploited my pain and took advantage of me in my condition. The dr looked at my X-rays that I had done at the medimerge and told me to stop wearing the sling and that I was basically being a baby even though he said my elbow was in fact broken. I was then told to come back in a few weeks for a follow up visit and given a script for physical therapy. I went back for the follow up visit only to be barely seen at all and told to continue physical therapy. Months and months later I receive a surprise medical bill for $1,300!!!!!!!! Because they think it's ok to charge $2,790 for an office visit to look at my X-rays that I received elsewhere!!!!! I have insurance and verified with them ahead of time that they took my insurance!!!! They said insurance isn't covering all of it and that's what they charge!!! I am beyond livid at all of this because I would have shopped around for a reasonably priced doctors office that wouldn't send a huge surprise bill months later!! Do not go to this doctor office and do not trust what they say!! I feel that what they charge and the way they went about charging it is nothing short of criminal!!!! First of all what kind of dr office charges almost $3,000 to look at X-rays?!?!?!!!! And what kind of doctor office gives you a surprise medical bill months later after you provided your insurance information before you even went for the appointment?!?!!!? DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!! If I could give them zero stars I would!!!

When I objected again, the so-called "customer service" representative rudely hung up on me. Just a word to the wise for future prospective patients.
