They even noticed a spelling mistake in our URL (Good catch!) Finally the price, I had to ask the man to reconfirm the price! It was so reasonable I didn't believe it! Much cheaper than anything else I was quoted today and our previous printing company. Overall - I'll definitely be back in the very near future to do business again.

As well as popping into the shop, orders can be made by post or telephone and the finished product can be posted out, so there's really no reason to go into the shop at all. It also offers Internet access at 90 pence per half hour, which is quite reasonable. I have taken advantage of this service on many occasions, as there are no other places that offer it nearby. The internet is fast and both black & white and colour printouts are availible as well. I just feel sorry for the friendly chap who owns the shop, as the place doesn't seem to attract very many customers. It is always completely dead - quite surprising given the great services on offer at a reasonable price.

A little while ago I was involved in planning an exhibition for a charity I was working for, and we…read morewere seriously working against the clock. We had some A0 posters that we wanted to have laminated in time for the exhibition. My task was to find somewhere that could do it for us quickly and cheaply. Now, I didn't know this before - but apparently it's very hard to get A0 sized paper laminated. I called about 5 places and was told by all of them that the machines they used to laminate wasn't big enough to accommodate A0. My search continued. Then I called Servicepoint. Located on Sauchiehall Street, just by the Kelvingrove exit of the M8 - they're open from 7am until 11pm. Not only were they able to laminate my A0 posters (they use a special machine apparently) it also cost me only £11 per poster. And do you want to know the best bit? Because they're open from 7am till 11pm; I dropped the poster off at about 5.30pm on my way home from work, and then picked them up at 9am the next morning - no waiting time at all involved. Servicepoint also offer all types of printing, copying, finishing services, photo enlargements and design exhibition stands. In other words, anything you could ever want from a copy and print shop.

They also have a small selection of photo albums and photo frames. The small shop can sometimes get busy however the staff are friendly, efficient, and seem to know their stuff. If like me you struggle with their 'do it yourself' developing machines (ok, I know most people don't, but for the less techo-savy of us), they will happily assist you. My only complaints are that the company should consider changing its hideous green and yellow colour scheme and that they should have better advertised their 10% student discount; after spending a fair bit of moula in this shop over the last couple of years, I've only just recently noticed the 10% Student Discount sign (I've just graduated!).

After googling, I realised Snappy Snaps is just around the corner from my Uni, so I was able to pop in in between classes and have these pictures taken. The process was pretty simple and pain free- all in it took about 5 minutes to process, I paid and I was on my way. The staff were super friendly and packaged my wee pictures in a take away holder and I was off. I'm not exactly sure how much passport photos cost- but I was ok with paying £9.99 as I now know I won't be knocked back by the American Embassy in London for having the wrong sized photos. Hooray! I needed some challenging printing done recently (the props for Yelp's Gallery of Glasgow…read morephotobooth!), and was struggling to get it done somewhere that wasn't too expensive. I was recommended to Hobs via twitter, and was overjoyed that they actually replied to my enquiry email within 24 hours (so many printing places never even bothered to reply!). They were able to give me guidance on the best material to use for printing that would be durable but could also be cut to size. They gave me a quote for them cutting it for me, but in the end I opted to do it myself. They gave me advice about cutting as well as offcuts to practice on, plus a couple of blades. How's that for customer service? The board were printed in less than 24 hours and I collected them from the premises on Woodlands Road. Again, helpful service and the board were nicely wrapped up in bubble wrap so I didn't have to stress about getting them wet. The boards ended up not being too hard to cut, and were perfectly suited to photobooth props. Thanks for the great service & advice!

If, like me, you are clueless with technical stuff then the staff here are really helpful and will help you out if you get stuck. They also offer a service in personalised cards and calendars where you can choose pictures of your loved ones to look at all year round. At Christmas time, I took a really cute picture of my cat in a Santa hat and was tempted to get them made into Christmas cards, unfortunately, In the rush up to the festive season, I totally forgot but I think I'll use this service this year.
