While they don't stock as much in terms of paper or pens anymore, they are very tech heavy and offer workshops on how to use the products we rely on (such as laptops, phones, headphones and tablets) and printing services as so many of us don't have printers anymore or for when you're in need of professional quality work. I think there's even a Starbucks in this location for if you need a drink while you shop and there is lots of bike parking out front and on the side for cyclists. This particular location is well spaced out, has whatever you need for home or office or home office solutions, and is priced pretty fairly, and has a couple washrooms too which are handy in this time of pandemic lockdowns. What do you want" routine and so I coyly suggested I have some of the pages redone and the cover re-bound. I asked if he suggest I do anything else and he said he didn't know. He then swiftly took my stuff away and came back 15 minutes later with my semi-new portfolio in hand. He rang up what I owed him while answering a phone call. He didn't look at me or have the courtesy to call the guy back while he finished serving me. I left feeling deflated that I hadn't asked for more help or been more assertive, but I didn't have the energy. Shouldn't these people WANT to help you? WANT to make something look professional and beautiful that you'd be proud of, and then, presumably, you'd suggest their services to your friends (or potential employers?)
