I felt like a kid in a candy store. Not only did this place have the exact style I was looking for, but I felt like I wanted to buy EVERYTHING THAT I SAW. I honestly cannot remember the last time I walked into a store and felt this way. I ended up trying on a few tops, and four dresses, and walked out with two dresses. This place has everything....clothes, shoes, accessories, jewelry, and all of it compliments one another. I was able to get some really great deals from their clearance rack, and their regular priced items were not terribly high either. The clerk was kind, and helpful when I asked for suggestions, the store is clean, bring and inviting, and the dressing room was luxurious! I will be adding more items to my closet from this place very soon!

This is the type of women's consignment shop that I favor.  It is small, but organized, and offers…read morea wide selection of apparel; the exception would be shoes and small sizes of tops and sweaters (they do have them, however, the selection is rather limited.)  The people who work in the store stay out of a shopper's way,  but I don't see that as a negative.  I like to browse and move on as I please without intrusions.   I noticed a few complaints about the owner turning down prospective consigners' offerings.  If the owner or buyer declines someone's articles, she has, of course, that prerogative.  I have bought a few brand new pairs of jeans at the store.  On the other hand, I purchased a pair of dress pants there a few years ago that weren't up-to-the-minute contemporary, but they were classic in style, constructed well, and are still my favorite pair of "dressy" pants/pants I would wear to work. The point is, the owner evidently does accept some slightly dated items, but I'm fairly sure her decision to do so depends on what the items are, if there is a need for them, and if the shop has space, just to name a few.

The store carries mens and womens clothes and accessories (shoes, handbags, etc) and it's attached to a Gap Kids. The Gap Body is a bit further in "downtown" Newtown, but it's still pretty close. And the staff is so friendly - I swear my mom and I know half the saleswomen there. The woman said "What I'm I to do with this?" I said "Excuse me?" she went on to say that the garment smelled of smoke and asked if the gifter smokes. I said "no" and smelled the piece of crap and then had my wife smell the piece of crap.... no smell whatsoever. We said "we don't smell anything". She then said that the store tag was missing and questioned whether we purchased it there. I said "it still has a four inch manufacturer's tag hanging from it and you can't identify this garment as something you sell here?" She replied "I have seen it at other places and we can't have a return policy like Macy's". I said "we have the bag with your stores name on it and the $60 receipt right there on the counter". She said hesitantly "well I guess I could try to air it out". Conclusion- post this and forget about it !!! My Dachshund now loves it - the smell of crap and smoke doesn't bother her.
