Moving across the county is the middle of a global pandemic isn't fun. Moving across the country and not have clothes or furniture for 70 days is unacceptable. I was told on my first phone call that the company doesn't outsource. It's all family owned. I'm sure if you call, you'll be told the same thing. They also won't tel you that they have a 30 day spread to deliver your stuff. They won't tell you that until your stuff is already loaded on the truck and ready to go. Let me tell you. It took them 40 days over the 30. It took 70 days. Which is ridiculous. I would call for an update and no one any answers. Ever. I swear it's the worst customer service I've ever encountered and I spent three hours on the phone with AT&T one time. Once I finally got my stuff, most of my furniture was damaged in some way. All of my boxes were dented. Don't waste your time writing fragile on your boxes. All of your plates are going to be broken anyway. I hope that they can sleep at night knowing they're liars and frauds. The company that they subcontracted to was S&M Relo. I had to have a lawyer contact them to get my stuff delivered. Deceptive practices by the sales representative: promised ten boxes would be delivered two days prior to the day of the move. They were not delivered. I called the sales representative about it, he continued to promised they would be delivered. The next day he stopped answering his phone. Mover called the day prior to the move to say that they would only accept cash, money order, or Venmo. This was not specified in the binding estimate. I called the sales representative to inquire about this change. He did not answer. Upon arrival, mover glanced at the furniture and boxes and attempted to extort $3000 above the balance due to move the items listed in the inventory. Because I was in a fairly desperate situation - I had to be out of my apartment, everything was packed up, etc. I offered to leave behind an old sofa and bed frame, even though they were included in the binding estimate. He said maybe that would bring it down to $2000 above the balance due. I recognized this as attempted extortion and called the police. The mover left before the police arrived. I called the company and asked whether they could send another mover and/or arrange for the mover to complete the move according to the terms of the binding estimate for which I paid the (hefty) deposit. The customer service representative said that there was nothing else they could do for me since I had notified her of my intention to contest the charge for the credit card and since the mover had left. I don't know how they can live with themselves knowing the SCAM they are running. They give you an estimate and then they farm out the job to someone who calls and asks you for double. I won't go into the details of everything that went wrong my only advice is DON'T USE THEM. And if you have already paid a deposit, pay no more until you receive your items. If there were a MINUS five star rating experience, that is what Priority Home would be receiving from us. Let's start at the beginning. * We entered into a legal contract with Priority Home Relocation in January of 2021 to move 545 cubic feet of furnishings and personal items from California to Florida. * Matt Lanzaro was the representative for Priority Home that entered into this contract with us to move our belongings. He gave us his direct dial and assured us he would be with the company for a long time. * The agreed total price to move our property was $3,202.24. * The move was originally scheduled for April 14 to 15 but we had to delay the move until May 20 to 21. * Three days prior to the move we were contacted by Anna representing Priority Home who requested we send her a more complete list and photos of boxes, furnishings and automobile body panels to be shipped. We sent the list and photos without delay. * One day before the scheduled move Anna contacted us to inform us that Priority Home would not move our property at the agreed upon price of $3,202.24. * In classic "Bait and Switch" practice, Anna informed us that the price would now be $9,100 but in their kindness and generosity to us, Priority Home would discount their now required crating of the auto body panels by $1,500 to bring the total cost of the move to $7,600. * When I asked Anna how Priority Home could simply ignore a legal and binding contract her response was that Matt Lanzaro no longer worked for Priority Home therefore they did not have to honor the contract. I had to educate Anna how a contract functions with or without the original legal company representative who entered into the contract with us. * We told Anna that we would not agree to what amounted to a shakedown timed so that we would be in desperation and Priority Home's criminal thinking that we would be willing to pay their shameful demand. * At this point in the conversation with Anna we requested that our deposit of $831.48 be immediately refunded to us. Anna refused to refund our deposit as she said Priority Home does not issue refunds. We informed Anna that we would be ready, willing and able to spend far in excess of $831.48 to have our day in court with Priority Home. After a brief place on hold Anna came back on the phone to inform us that we would be receiving a complete refund within 7 days which did occur. * In summary we fulfilled all aspects of the contract up to the point where Priority Home refused to perform their part. This company traps you in on a cheap estimate when you call and give them a list of the items you are moving. They gave me this to good to be true offer. Where I paid a deposit upfront. They then called me a few days from my pick up date to then up my contract amount asking for more money. I then paid to them to again have the price increased when they loaded all our stuff up. Which I had the money for the second agreed amount and had to Venmo the difference to them. The guys moving my stuff did not let me know a day when my stuff would be at our new house so we called the office several times from our pick up date with being told they would call us back with that information cause it's sitting in a warehouse in the original state. These people lie all the time!!! They said they are not a broker but totally a broker. The whole thing was a headache. We called in to file a complaint. The manager Jaylen was rude and wanted to teach people how to think and act. Instead of apologizing and trying to do something to help with the situation, she just wanted to argue to feel right and wanted to make the customer feel like it's their fault to check where their items are. I set up my contract with priority. On the day of the move another truck comes, cr7 is their name. They tried shaking us down for 2000 more than orig quote. I called priority and said I dont have it, I only have what we agreed on, I ended up having to leave all 3 of mt children's beds and me ans my wife's bed behind along with night stands. I told them I told priority everything we were twking and they even over estimated just in case. Once everything was on truck they said it was 480 cubic feet. I told them all I had was enough to cover the orig amount so someone 4 beds and 2 night stands brought it down only 100 cubic feet. Apparently cr7 handed our stuff off to another company who delivered ot to us Boxes had been open and re taped, many things stolen... Do not go with this company. Beware! Please take this seriously. Bottom line: They are not a legitimate company, they do not have any trucks/crew, they are only an intermediary. They give you a great estimate and once you sign the contract and give the deposit, you are doomed! They charge you twice. It is a classic fraud! Stay away! So, I gave my phone number to one of the websites that mover "companies" use to find customers. Within 30 seconds someone (Savanna: s.hambrick@priorityhomerelocation.com) called me, and after reviewing all my items and giving me ridiculous discounts (Tariff Discount: 65.08%), my estimate was $1592, 304 cf. (2128 lbs), $3.90 per cf. Savanna insisted that I must sign the contract, otherwise the rate would go up (B.S.). Anyway, I did not do that and talked to a few other companies and they also gave me roughly the same estimate. I ended up choosing PRIORITY HOME RELOCATION LLC because Savanna game me the first estimate. Before signing the contract, she was like you can have my number and call me ANYTIME for help. However, after signing the contract, she never answered my phone calls. Every time I called, and she heard my voice, she hung up. I call again, and somebody else picks up (supposedly Savanna's phone number). I think they are 3 people sitting next to each other! Pickup: some guy came (driver) and he is like "you have too much stuff, I have to call my BOSS". His boss did not answer for two hours, and we are just waiting for him. After 2 hours, he calls and gives me another estimate. It turns out, they are another company (S & M RELO LLC). My new estimate is $2554 plus ridiculous fees that add up to $2800. I had already paid $500 deposit fee to PRIORITY HOME RELOCATION LLC and I was supposed to be on my way to Houston in a few hours! I was hooked. No option! The second company also charged me for gas. I paid $155 (75+80) for gas!!! They said one is for pick up and one is for delivery. I still have not received my stuff and waiting for them to give me an ETA for delivery after one week. My furniture is still in storage in Phoenix. I cannot do anything about the money I lost, but I will do everything in my capacity to prevent this from happening to anyone else. P.S. I ended up paying $1400 more than their "over-estimated maximum quote" (I decided last minute before they showed up to not move couple of things so I reduced the amount of stuff to be moved than what was estimated). They make you pay deposit first, delay your moving date so that on your pick-up day, you cannot afford to change your moving company or have time to argue/re-schedule everything. Then you get a different moving company show up at your door who threatens you to pay more or not move your stuff. Then, they screw up your schedule by changing the delivery date that is completely favorable to them, (they made me receive my stuff 2 days before my first available date otherwise I had to pay for storage), and when they deliver, it is yet, another company, and they, again, demand you pay more than agreed for moving the stuff "over a long distance", otherwise they would not start moving your stuff. On December 28th 2020 my personal belongings were picked up and had been estimated for deliver on January 2nd of 2021. Are there negative stars? Where do we start? You will get the short list. Was going to move myself for my job transfer but wanted prices for someone else to do it and see if worth it. Gave good details, do not have much and an apartment. To pack and move me they gave an estimate. Was told there will be 3 people and a certain date. Never came but a day later. I gave a very detailed inventory for the initial quote, signed the contract and was told "the driver will give you the actual price at pick up". Between the time I went into contract and the time of my move, I significantly downsized my belongings for various reasons, so you would think that the price would have gone down....NOPE. Understand they are just a brokerage company that subcontracts to local drivers. When the actual moving company, Golden Van Lines, had my things about half packed, the driver informed me that I was at my contractual limit and would be paying extra from here out. I asked him how that could be given the fact there were less things than when I signed the contract. His response was "' I don't know why they gave you an estimated space that low...you're probably double that." I called customer service, who was one of the most arrogant condescending jerks imaginable, who educated me that they use a standard industry model to estimate volume and tough crap. So now I'm being held hostage, needing to move for work, with no option but to proceed. Long story short, the price more than doubled. I was quoted with a different company which are brokers that hired this company to move our stuff. The quote was done by listing all the stuff we had in storage to them and we put down a deposit of 900 plus dollars. The movers arrived to pick up the stuff and informed us this is way more stuff than what was quoted and took pictures of the storage then sent it back to the customer service rep. They would not start loading until we paid ... get this... twice more! Twice more?! How? They were notified in the beginning we had this amount of storage units and their dimensions! So how could the quote be so much off?! The lady at the Customer service was extremely rude, refused to give me back my deposit and basically told me I lied on the list of stuff I possess. Yea sure it's such a difference that I owe THOUSANDS of dollars more than was quoted and you know that by never coming out to physically look at the storage. If you don't know how to calculate quotes by using EXACT dimensions provided then sure it's twice more! ITS A SCAM! So if you're dealing with brokers like we were which were basically the middle men they will hire someone else to move your stuff, so just make sure to ask who will be handling your move and make sure they are legit. read more

This company is a complete scam. They are a bait and switch company that give you a false quote in the beginning and then once they load your personal belongings, they over charge you! They change the pick up dates and then they don't give you updates on your belongings and have you waiting for them way over the scheduled delivery date. If you give a deposit, they hold your money and make it extremely difficult to get it back. They tell you 5-7 business days and then tell you it will be there on a specific date and then tell you 10 business days. Not to mention, the staff is EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional and all of them should be out of a job, including our agent Danielle. Once Danielle got what she needed money wise, she changed into a different person with how she speaks. I've never heard a professional customer service rep speak the way she did. She has no business having a job in customer service and she is just as much of a scammer as this whole company is. read more

DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY! Priority Home Relocation lived up to every fear I had with selecting a moving company. I booked Priority with the expectation they would fulfil their promise of effective communication, adhering to pick-up and drop-off times, and no additional fees added at the end. Unfortunately, I experienced the opposite in every area. I was scheduled to move on Monday, May 24th, and I received a call on Saturday, May 22nd, requesting $800.00 more due to a "glitch" in their system and I needed to pay that before they pick me up on Monday. After going back and forth, and explaining I signed a fixed price no hassle contract, they agreed to waive the $800.00. When Monday came, I did not receive a call or anything. I called that afternoon and they stated I had been rescheduled for Tuesday, May 25th. I was ok with that because the contract had a two-day pick-up window. Tuesday comes and again, I do not hear from them. I called them and after jumping through hoops and being lied to several times about them coming to pick me up, they rescheduled for Wednesday, which now goes against the contract. Do you know what happened next? That's right, they rescheduled for Thursday. Long story short, I had to book another moving company at the last minute because I closed on my home on Thursday and had to be out on Wednesday, I had to reschedule my flight (costing me money), my car was delivered to my new state and I wasn't there to receive it, and to top it off they didn't want give my deposit back after they breached the contract. I contracted Priority Home Relocation as I guess a subcontractor of Colonial Moves/Movers, when I was trying to move from Texas to Colorado, and had them pop up as a recommended mover on some relocation site I was searching. (The site had excellent reviews, though I now believe these were fake.) I was given a quote as well as several discounts if I booked same-day. This sounded like a great deal (I'd already talked to 3 other companies and these guys were coming in several hundred dollars less-- a good savings but not so much cheaper as to alarm me), so I booked them and paid a little over $900 as deposit-- a third of my move costs-- but ended up needing to cancel due to a reimbursement cap from my job. I submitted my cancellation 8 days prior to my scheduled move (well within the refund guidelines as described to me when I signed up), and was told by my original "specialist" that she'd seen refunds issued as quickly as 3 days from submission. Then I was transferred to an accounting specialist, who corrected that to 5-7 days (ok, fine). I called 5 days later to confirm details and was corrected to "5-7 BUSINESS days" for the refund. On the 7th business day I called again, and was told 10 business days. 10th business day-- I called-- was told, "oh your refund is in the batch we're submitting Friday, so you should have the refund by Monday." Fast Forward to Monday-- we are at 17 days now-- and still no refund. Even worse, the agent I spoke to ("Tammy") talked over me when I was trying to give her my information, THEN put me on hold while I was mid-sentence trying to ask a question. And as of now (Monday) I'm being told that the refund that was supposed to be submitted to their bank last week was "still being processed". I requested to speak to a supervisor and was told that the Accounting Supervisor "Susan" was unavailable but could call me "at some point" to discuss, and "Tammy"'s supervisor "Amanda" couldn't call me back to discuss the employee behavioral issues for "at least 72 hours." Long story short, BEWARE of these people, and DO NOT give them any kind of deposit. Getting your refund back from them is like pulling teeth. I wish I had never found them. As a single parent who just moved cross-country, I desperately need that money back, and these folks are in ZERO hurry to take care of it. read more

My mother did an out of state move with Priority. They are bold and forceful for themselves. They held her stuff hostage for more money (via postal checks), including making her pay the deposit again. Plus, the delivery crew, allegedly from a different company (subcontractor?) called AJ Logistics, unloaded boxes/plastic crates that were busted or simply already opened, and some items from them were loose in the truck. Maybe needless to day, several things were accounted for, as well as whole boxes and even part of her bed. Side tables were broken and cabinets chipped. When she unpacked, she found she had some things that didn't belong to her. They told her to throw them out (she donated them). Furthermore, she has yet to receive the insurance forms she was supposed to get to make claims for missing or broken items. Perhaps she will get them at the 90-day mark, after which the claims would apparently be void, but we think these forms don't exist anyway. A silver lining is that recently (over two months later) my mother was able to get some (not all) of the boxes that were missing from delivery, but obnoxiously the retrieval consisted of renting a U-haul (with no reimbursement, of course) and driving over an hour to what was presumably another customer's house to meet the truck. There are plenty of reputable moving companies out there. This is not one of them, if it even is a real company. read more
