I am disappointed by the fact that the five star reviews on this bogus company included here by supposed Yelpers are indeed scams themselves! The Yelp AI screening failed. These "reviewers", except for one, have only reviewed PVR in their very short membership in Yelp. Many thanks to the bonafide Yelpers who warned against this company. I signed a contract with them November 2023 and they still have not rented successfully. They will send you three listings and all of them need to be available in order for the transaction to be accepted. Every time I have called them they've sent me out other listings that have never worked. I feel like I have been strung along, and I never get straight answers . I signed up in April 2024, and was told by John that I would receive offers within 90 days, with most bookings occurring in 30-60 days. However, after six months with no offers, I requested a refund, as I was originally promised that if no bookings were made within six months, I would receive my money back. When I spoke with the manager, Vanessa, she informed me that the refund policy was actually up to a year. Now, almost a full year has passed, and I still have received no offers. I also spoke with Cassandra, who couldn't even provide basic information about the company, such as the CEO or manager's name. When I asked about my refund or bookings, she had no answers. Scam alert. The offer to make money by putting my points into their time share system seemed strange. I don't have weeks, I have points. I tried several times to request a room from RCI to no avail and lots of time spent fielding calls from Shell Vacation Club (as I had put in a standing order). Wish I had checked BBB or yelp before committing. It's been a year and there is no refund in site, just the same old excuses. The company salesperson used the line..."My father is retired and he has three of these that are consistently rented and it is a good source of income for him. So I recommended this to my father!" I finally got one, but the timing needed to be quick. Called Priority and was informed I have to have ALL THREE offers confirmed before they would action anything. I don't know how these people sleep at night. Unfortunately I fell for it too. I was recently sent my first 3 offers they wanted me to check the availability of them, then they called me twice, once at 7:10 am, making it seem like it was urgent for me to check the availability of the Resorts they wanted me to check on. So, after I found out the availability, I called them back and told her only one of the Resorts on the list they sent me was available. She put me on hold because she was going to give the information to the "booking agent." She came back and told me that " their client has made other arrangements" and they would be sending me more offers ASAP. Then BAM! it hit me. I fell for a scam. So, I checked them out on the BBB website and sure enough there they were, all the reviews of people that have been scammed by this outfit. read more

It has now been 16 months since they have defrauded me of my money. I call back at least weekly. They say they will give a refund, but their definition of a refund is that they will do the job they were supposed to do and you get your money back that way. It has been four months since they have sent me any offers (all the offers they sent prior were rejected by them because the booking time wouldn't work.) Like other reviewers, this company ALREADY has some information about YOU, and that's why they "phish" you out with a cold call to sell (rent) your unused "Getaway Weeks" ($1800/week) for an upcoming convention that is In desperate need of rooms--immediately. It's a tag team: the initial marketing call (aka the hook), the inventory agent who validates how many weeks you have (in my case, I was told I had 4 expiring 12/31/24) then the closer (contract agent) who cannot answer ANY questions but wants to record you and wants you to sign and return the contract real time. The spiel: they can rent out one or more of your Getaway weeks BUT you must pay UPFRONT the Interval International exchange fee for those weeks via your credit card. They, in turn will send you a certified check for the balance in 60-90 days, and you must be home to receive it or they can send it via direct deposit. Then, the inventory agent mentions that you can rent out (negotiate) the weeks for more moolah BUT that may take up to 180 days to rent. Huh? Didn't they call because there is an urgent need of lodging for a convention? Why must I pay the exchange fee of ~$2K now but wait 90-180 days to receive a certified check for the balance? Red ALERT! Danger Will Robinson! Do not take the bait no matter how appealing the offer may be nor how personable the representative sounds. RED FLAG: They will not accept American Express. Only Visa, Mastercard, and Discover Card. I received the lame contract and it did not contain any of the terms that were discussed by telephone. Expressly, the $2K was termed an "advertising fee". No mention of "Getaway Weeks" by Interval International (II). II forewarns of these SCAM campaigns on their website. When in doubt, check it out with II, BBB, YELP, talk with trusted knowledgeable professional but DEFINITELY listen to your instincts. HANG UP! Below is the complaint I filed with the BBB regarding this company. I have also filed a complaint with the Florida Attorney General's office. It appears that several other people have had the same experience and I believe the company is a scam intended to take your money upfront and never complete the rental process according to the signed contract. They also deliberately give you false information regarding a refund to keep the customer satisfied until the refund time comes then they make up a new policy. I signed up with Priority Vacation Rentals on 11/30/23 for $1,996 to have them rent out our timeshare weeks at $1,800/week. After 6 months of no offers, I called to get an update and they had misspelled my email in they system an had been sending offers to an incorrect email. They never once called to ask why I wasn't responding to the offers so they clearly weren't upset that I wasn't responding. Every time I received an offer, the resort wasn't available except for one time. When the resort was available, I was told "the client decided to hold their conference at another location and the offers weren't valid any longer." As the end of my year approached, I called multiple times per week and asked how I could get a refund after the year was over and I didn't have any confirmed rentals. I was told "you will get a refund via check or the credit card that was used to pay for the service." This was a flat out LIE because when the year ended, I was told "the only way to get a refund is through the rental process" which completely contradicts what the customer service representatives were telling me in the previous 5-6 conversations. As another person said, this company will tell you whatever you need to hear to get you to sign up and whatever you need to hear to get off of the phone. They clearly train the customer service representatives to lie about the refund to keep people happy until the year is up and then change the procedure after the year has passed. All I want is a refund of my money like I was promised multiple times over the phone. After the year was up, I was put on a "Priority List" for people who haven't completed an offer yet. As of today, I have been on the list for 2 months and haven't received an offer so it doesn't appear that I'm much of a priority. The contract only promises to advertise for 2 periods of 180 days so in my opinion, the contract is not valid after 360 days. There is also no mention about the "refund by rental" policy in the contract so I believe that is also a breach of contract on their part. This is the section from the contract about the rental timeframe: - I understand that I am paying Priority Vacation Rentals, Inc a one-time, non-recurring, fee to advertise my timeshare for a period of (180) one hundred eighty days. If I have not received an acceptable offer within (180) one hundred and eighty days, Priority Vacation Rentals, Inc will renew my advertising at the company's expense for an additional (180) one hundred and eighty days upon my written request. I have called many times over the last few months and have only been able to speak to a manager once despite my account being "marked as a priority" and a manager was scheduled to call me back within 24 hours. My last phone call ended with the customer service representative hanging up on me. This company should be shut down and not scam anyone out of another dime. I urge people to file complaints with the BBB and AG office to hopefully stop this company from stealing people's hard earned money. read more

This company has called me several times over the past 3 weeks. i asked for a copy of the contract put they told me I would have to provide my credit card number for then to send it out and nothing would be processed until the contract was signed. I provided them with a fake credit card number so I could get a copy of the contract. I received a call stating they needed a correct card number to move forward, by that time I had the contract. I put them off until I could further read the contract but unlike like many of you, I found out this was a scam before I could to be a scam. What you're told and what you sign up for is totally different. During the conversation I was told within 60 to 90 days I would receive a call requesting permission for them to send me the money once the deal was complete in order to receive the funds. If they were not able to reach me and get my permission to send the money, I had 7 days after they called to contact them and provide my permission My comment was why is this not in the contract. If the agreed to amount is written why do you need my approval the send what's already agreed to? No answer. Then I asked, what happens if you don't hear from me in 7 days? No answer. My next question threw them completely for a loop. I asked, what happen if I pass away?????? Al of a sudden silence . . . . Uhhhhhh . . . I never heard of that before. They promise you the world but the contract leaves out all those promises. Also be ware they will tell you you're on a recorded line but you can't ask any questions. Reason being is that they are going over what's in the written contract that they're sending you to sign that way they have a recorded agreement stating you understand and a signed written agreement. At this point you. They are what they say they are per the contract an advertising company and you are getting what you're paying for, their services to advertise your listing, the rest is up to you. This is really a scam company. Someone named Cindy called regarding our Marriott Vacation Club and stating 'we have some events coming up so give us a call'. When we called a woman named Bridgett said it was for our unused weeks (4 of them) from our Interval International Timeshare linked to our MVC. So for $2,300.00 down they would sell our 4 weeks for $2,500.00 each and we would make the 10,000 - our investment. They sent over to Nikkie who sent a contract and everything pressuring us to sign with a 10 day cancellation fee. Too good to be true. I contacted Interval and they said this is an ongoing scam. I wanted to ask the questions and she wanted me to "stop interrupting". I stated that I had already "invested" in MY timeshare, so why would I pay PVR money to rent it out?? This is simply a scam! Someone named Nikki reached out to me with a message saying it was in regards to my Holiday Inn Vacations account (my timeshare). When I called back, Nikki stated it had to do with RCI Getaway weeks? Be suspicious?! In order to get more information about "my inventory" Nikki needed to transfer me to the Inventory Manager Rachel, who spoke ridiculously fast and in the most condescending manner. The offer was to purchase week long "Getaway" vacations through RCI for $499/week, turn the Getaway over to PVR, and somehow they would rent those weeks out to corporate entities coming to Orlando for conventions/conferences and you are "guaranteed" $1800/week (a $1301 return on investment). So, you pay them $1,996 for 4 weeks, that you purchase, up front and pray you get something in return. Called my rep from Holiday Inn (Timeshare) and they verified it was a scam. Beware! STAY AWAY!!!!!!! For a fee of $1,500, Priority Vacation Rentals has promised to rent out 4 of our vacation weeks. Needless to say, after 1 year they have failed to rent even one week. On 6 seperate occassions, they have sent us rental requests that have failed to produce even on rented week. When we signed up on 11/6/23, we were told that if we had not rented a single week within the year, we would be eligible for a refund. When Priority Vacation Rentals had yet to produce a single rented week in the first 6 months, every time we were contacted about potential weeks my wife would ask about a potential refund. Every single time she was told the same thing, you have to wait until 11/6/24. This even happened 10-14 days ago when the potential rentals we were sent didn't work out (not only were the properties full but more than one of the units requested didn't even exist on that property. There was zero chance of filling those requests), my wife asked the employee on the phone about the refund to which she was told to wait until 11/6/24 to start the process. When we called on 11/6/24 to start the refund, we were told that the only way to get our money back is through the rental reimbursement process. This is not the info that we were given the 3 or 4 previous times we talked to Priority Vacation Rentals and was not the info we were given when we signed up. Their phone employees are telling people whatever it takes to make the initial sale, placate them when the rentals aren't working out and to get them off the phone as fast as possible. read more

This company calls out of the blue, unsolicited a year ago. They sold me on a pretty convincing scam, promising "3-5X returns within 6 months, max," and that I could "cancel after that, if I had issues." That's the critical point of BS to listen for when they call you. They then took payment from me to "activate my Interval" getaways for resale. That's it. That's all they did. In 13 months, if we have corresponded, I initiated the contact. Over that span, over a half dozen attempts for them to "match me to offers," and dozens of said "offers" reviewed, ZERO have matched ANY availability within the interval system. I called at 6 months to cancel; they moved the goalpost, insisting I couldn't cancel until at least a year has passed." I tried several times between then and now to get them to make good on even ONE of their promises; no dice. So I called back after a year to cancel, as they instructed. Their reply: "You can't cancel, you have a contract." What I have is a $1.6K hole in my wallet, and a ton of nothing else. So in closing, I have gotten nothing, they refuse to refund despite that being the ONLY pre-condition I made them verify. And round... And round... The bowl, and down the hole, is where these sub-human people belong. I'll be in Florida in 2 months for vacation - and I've retained a lawyer. I guess we will make them spew this BS to our face before forcing the issue. Anyway, rant over. Don't do it. The reviews that claim these are awful folks are true. They called me 7/25/24 they said I had six offers. When I signed with RCI, they told me I had two one vacations coming. I don't know how Priority Vacation figured I owned six. Anyway, I went ahead and bought it, $3,000.00 I saw visions of money dancing in my head. Afterwards I checked Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. I immediately regretted my decision. I called them right back and asked for my money back because I didn't trust them. The money was back in my bank account within the hour. I checked with RCI, they said there are some reputable companies who do that, but there are also many scams. I still don't know if they are legit, but I'm just glad they refunded my money.
