Was not impressed with our stay. When I first checked in the room look nice. Then we started to notice thing. The floors were dirty, especially around all the corners and the lower walls. Very old hotel that has done some cosmetic upgrades. A/C units are old, and there are constant issues. We were moved three times because the room was not clean (dirty linens, slept-in beds, dirty towels), and the A/C units in our rooms stopped working. The hotel refused to honor the food credit that I had written proof of in my reservation and paid for. They did decide to honor the food credit the last day of our stay... The jacuzzi was out of order and unavailable during our stay. The pool area that is supposed to be for guests only isn't. We watched a woman bring in several family members who were not staying at the hotel and leave them unattended at the pool, then go back to her room. There was a very heavy smell of marijuana in the hallways of the 4th floor and the executive level during our stay. We asked to be moved to the executive level thinking it would be safer since you needed a key card to get access on the elevator. The lounge on the Executive Level is closed on Saturday and Sunday, but the signs clearly state it should be open on the weekend. Good luck getting any appetizers or breakfast from the Executive Lounge; the guests the hotel attracts act like this is their last meal, loading up stacks of food and taking it to their room. Staff does not replenish food in the lounge once food is gone. *Noise: Loud HVAC units often affect sleep quality. *Hidden Costs: Extra charges for parking and breakfast. *Room Selection: Rooms facing interior glass roofs tend to be dark and lack desirable views. *All rooms need A/C and heating replaced *Problem with guests smoking marijuana in the hotel. *Needs better hotel security to deal with drug use and undesirable guests. Would I stay here again? No. I stay at hotels a lot (~80 nights a year) and this one is a hard pass for the future. It's an older Sheraton with some updates. Honestly, it's been a while since I last stayed at a Sheraton and was expecting the experience to be more like a budget friendly Marriott. Let's just say I've stayed at nicer renovated Courtyards by airports. The front desk staff was not pleasant. Even at check-in, every time I stopped by it was more like an inconvenience to them. While the last guest may no longer be on vacation, their curly black hair was living its best life in our room. The room just wasn't clean. I had an issue with the shower drain not draining (like at all) the first night. The room phone would not call the front desk. After an hour of trying, they would not answer the Marriott app messages. I had to go down to the desk to get it resolved. The bed was uncomfortable. The pillows were terrible-- extremely lumpy (which is gross) or super paper thin. French toast and an omelette was $60 at the restaurant, again it wasn't good! Sadly, this is extremely convenient to the Ice Den but I'd rather be further away than stay here again! read more

This hotel was despicable. Initially, I was placed on the third floor in the room look like something from a horror movie not only was it old and unkept, but it was also dirty and scary. I requested they move my room and the front desk immediately knew the issue. I was moved to a fourth floor room, which was obviously renovated, but still had limitations. There were bugs on the floor in the bathroom and generally the room seemed lived in. I visited the coffee shop early in the morning and the coffee shop opened almost 30 minutes late with patrons waiting in the lobby waiting for it to open. This hotel has been around for a very long time. I do love its modern look design and amenities downstairs that I offered. However, I do feel the club level was very hot on that particular floor at arrival. We did notify front desk. They were very attentive and did take steps to fix issues immediately with our concerns. We were given a better view and room which we did appreciate and made this stay better. The location is my most favorite aspect of this hotel. It is right off of I-4 and will get you to destinations, malls, restaurants,or attractions, within 20 to 30 minutes. The cleanliness was a little better than average and it did seem pretty quiet at the time of our stay. This hotel is very well able to accommodate conferences and classes. When you walk into this hotel you could never expect that the third floor is what it is. The rest of the hotel is nice and fresh and more modern and the third floor looks like it hasn't been updated or cleaned since 1970. We sent a client here and they had a nice time and then the next visit they had they were beyond disgusted. My preferred hotel was booked so I selected the Sheraton and asked for any floor but the third. They stated that was the only option and I decided to suck it up. I don't feel comfortable putting my feet on the floor, it smells awful and I had to spray everything down, the toilet roll wasn't new and there was a gash in the toilet seat as well as scratches all over the bathroom walls and door. The hallway looks like the Shining and the lights are dim and the floors are stained. When I mentioned updating to the front desk she said they weren't working on it. I'm not sure how they can make people pay the same price to stay on the third floor. I've been in a Ramada near a truck stop that was nicer than this. The air conditioner also sounds like a jet engine so trying to sleep is not an easy task. This place needs to take pride in serving its customers because this is embarrassing. Update: I called the front desk and voiced my concern that it is disgusting and they were not concerned and just said they are full tonight. Reading reviews going back 3-7 years with the same complaints is wild. I thought my chances of getting the third floor were low but I will never stay here again or recommend it to my clients. The Sheraton Orlando North Hotel is located in a relatively remote area in Maitland, Florida. The location is not ideal if you are hoping to have restaurants or stores within walking distance. However, the hotel does offer valet parking as well as a gated lot for self-parking - both of which come at a hefty price. In my opinion, the hotel is a tad over-priced. I made the mistake of not reserving my room online before arriving. I ended up paying well over $200 for one night (not including the nightly parking fee, breakfast, or the nightly deposit,). After getting to my room and settling in, I decided to go online to see what it would cost me to extend my stay by another night. I was shocked to see that I could have reserved the room for half the price that I paid at the desk. I recommend researching the rates online before checking in! The regular King room I stayed in was spacious, very clean, and had an amazingly comfortable bed. I was excited to see that it even had a balcony, but after opening the sliding door to check out the "view" (which ended up being a panoramic shot of the other side of the hotel wall), I was disappointed at how small it was. I barely fit out the door. Don't expect a table and chairs, like I did! The guest rooms located on the top floor of the hotel are considered "Club Level". Basically, from my understanding, these rooms are newly renovated, larger, more expensive, and include a few extra perks. There is a pub-style restaurant and a separate bar on site, but both were only open for a few hours during my stay. The hotel has a hot tub and pool with a waterfall, which is nice, but there were towels thrown all over the chairs and trash left on the table. The hotel has a small fitness center, a huge business center/seating area/lobby, conference and meeting rooms, and breakfast for an extra fee. There is also a Bakery/Deli that serves a very limited number of Starbucks beverages near the front desk. However, it also has very limited hours. This was a very nice Sheraton hotel. A decent gym with multiple weight machines. A spacious lobby with a bar and restaurant on the same floor. A nice outdoor and pretty outdoor hot tub area with a waterfall on the side. As for the Sheraton Club, the breakfast is pretty average (oatmeal, scrambled eggs, potatoes, etc.). It was opened from 6:30-8:30am which was a bit earlier than usual hotels. I was expecting more for the breakfast but it sufficed as the restaurant on the first floor is ~$20pp for breakfast. There is also an evening reception in the lounge from 5-7pm but I did not have a chance to go. Main perk I used the lounge for was the free refrigerated water bottles. Also, the staff in the lounge (especially Lily) were very sweet and funny I had stayed in a King size club access room. It was fairly nice. With tea, a mini fridge, Netflix enabled TV, and a small balcony. My room did not have enough body wash upon my arrival. However, aside from this minor thing, it was a nice room. We headed out for a short family trip for a wedding. Since we were not sure we could make it but did last minute, I was able to call them to book our rooms 3 hours before our arrival. We did call another hotel option from recommendations but after the customer service from there, it definitely was a no go. Thank goodness for here, although the wait time was a lot the customer service was good. I did wish they would have just checked if we had an account when I confirmed I was not sure. After booking, I got the confirmation and was going to sign up but it turned out that I did have a membership. I downloaded the app so I could do mobile check in, but could not add my trip with the confirmation. It directed me to call customer service, but that wait time lasted until I got to the front desk. The young women who checked us in was great and was able to add my trip to my account and direct us to the room. We stayed in the traditional room so it was a dark design. The air was off so it was rather humid when we entered but we were able to turn on the wall thermometer. We got dressed and left for the wedding. Upon our return I asked the front desk about a crib and they were able to bring it up to the room. The only thing being that they did not provide any sheets for it. Luckily we brought his blanket and used one from our bed on the crib mattress. Turns out the fridge was not working or maybe not on, so we couldn't keep our drinks cold overnight, but we were too tired to bother with it. The air did have us a little extra raspy in the morning. I wondered if it had to do with the dust and lint I found under the bed. They definitely need to take care of this because lots of people ha e allergies, such as myself. My mother-in-law had 2 beds and one of them had stains on the sheets. Luckily our room with the kids the sheets were clean. After getting up and ready to go, I saw the bill slid under our door. I did wonder why they would charge for parking in their own lot. Valet was not available for Covid reasons though. At the end, I was glad to be able to do mobile checkout. Loved the club floor. If you stay on the 6th floor then you get breakfast in the club and apps and domestic alcoholic drinks in the evening for free. You have access to the club floor 24/7 with the ability to grab free water or coke products for free. The continental breakfast buffet was the best. It's okay. Not a destination spot. My room was dated on the fourth floor. Two other colleagues said their room was on a different floor level and their room was remodeled. Has a small gym, large conference rooms, plenty of parking and easy to access near by restaurants. Nothing within walking distance though. They do have a full bar, and you are able to order food that tastes good if you are wanting to stay in the hotel. Debbie the bartender is really nice and works hard to please everyone. What kind of Yelper am I? I did not read the reviews for this low rated hotel before I made my reservation! I am glad I didn't because this hotel was not nearly as bad as many of the reviews stated. The worst part about the hotel is the physical appearance. The lobby looks like you are stepping straight into the 1970's: The lobby is a big atrium. A huge area of the lobby is a restaurant which is not open in the evening. There is a bar/ lounge and a snack bar that sells coffee, breakfast items, baked good, etc. An Irish Pub is attached to the hotel. I stopped in for some soup but since the only choice available was lentil, I passed. The decor in the common and guest rooms is kind of depressing. The halls are dark and dingy. The doors and the dark wood furniture inside the rooms.are all scuffed up. I really can't believe a chain like Sheraton does not renovate this hotel! After I checked in and saw the place I read the reviews and kind of freaked out. Yet, my room was tidy . Best of all, the bed was very comfortable. The linen was crisp and clean. I adored the mushy duvet. I slept like a baby! My stay was also brightened by the fact that I was put on the Club Floor. I am not sure why as I never stay at Sheratons , but it was so convenient. I enjoyed some snacks in the evening, as well as complimentary water. In the morning, there was a really nice breakfast with hot & cold cereals, eggs, bacon. The coffee was excellent. From the front desk to the Club Room attendant, the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a business area and conveniently right off I-4. This is my 2nd week at the Sheraton for work. This will be my home away from home for the next several months so I'm super excited that it has turned out so well especially since it's less than 2 miles to work. Check in at the front desk is always quick. The staff are always personable and quick to assist. Both weeks I've been upgraded. They're spoiling me already. The 1st week I was in a room with a jacuzzi and I made sure to take advantage every night. They must have known that I needed that in my life after my 1st week on a new job. This 2nd week I'm in a suite. My husband came with and he watches TV late so I've been able to get some sleep while he still watches TV. Everyone is happy! The hotel looks older from the outside but has been remodeled inside. The lobby is nice and open and airy with a 6 story atrium. There is an open eating area where they serve breakfast in the morning and private receptions. There is a market in the lobby as well which is stocked with snacks. Also in the lobby is an Irish Pub. It's a true pub all the way down to the Irish bartender who is an awesome guy! The lounge for elite members is on the 6th floor, card access only. The lounge is on the smaller side but it's usually got a nice lively crowd and the Sheraton staff are really nice, especially the lady up there most evenings handing out complementary wine. And no that's not the only reason I like her lol. The rooms are earth tone decor....off whites, grey, tans, recently updated and the beds are amazingly comfortable along with nice crisp linens. The heating and air system is easy to control. The room heats and cools rapidly so it's easy to adjust. There is a Budget/Avis car rental in the lobby along with the workout center. The gym is my only complaint. It's really about time to put those treadmills out to pasture. All of them. One evening I had a slight issue with my room service order. They made sure to get it resolved to my satisfaction quickly which I really appreciate as we all know sometimes things just happen. read more

Sliding patio door wouldn't closed so had the big building guy force closed. I went to 2 of my friends room on the 5th floor, their room and furniture looks 10 x better than mine. Given the increasing prices of all things Florida, it's not the worst option to stay at if you want to save a few bucks for a nice hotel that's about 25-30 mins from Disney and Universal. The things the hotel doesn't have is free continental breakfast, free parking, and a microwave in the room. It does have a fridge though and a microwave in the lobby. Wifi works well and the air condition was good. The hotel is very modern and the room was nice. It really is a very nice looking hotel. Trips to and from the the parks can get pretty pricey due to the surging ride share apps unfortunately. Feels like Florida is outpricing even the middle class at this point but that's another story for another day. The hotel itself was a great, modern hotel so I will give it 5 stars although I do wish in this day and age they at least offered the microwave in the room and free parking but whatever. read more

I stayed at the Sheraton for one night. Upon entering the parking is a little confusing. Unless you want valet parking, just enter the lot and get a ticket from the machine. Turn in that ticket when you check in and they will add it to your room charge. It was $12.00. Easy peasy. The hotel inside was much nicer than I expected. I'm an Elite member for Marriott and for some reason I just thought a Sheraton would be mediocre. This place by far exceeded my expectations. The room was clean, linens were fresh, extra towels were given, and the bathroom was impeccable. I ended up working in the hotel room from 3pm-7:30pm. The free WiFi worked faster than my home WiFi! I even opened up my balcony door and let the breeze com in the room. It was very relaxing. I had the breakfast buffet the next morning and again I was surprised. There was fresh French toast, several fruit options, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, cereal, and get this...crispy bacon! Mmmm. It was yummy. If I'm in the area again I will for sure be staying here again. read more

Well I just stayed there this past month and they were really nice. I still had the feathers in my room but the front desk girl, the supervisor, she was sweet and she remembered me from last time and she immediately came up there and got them out. They were nice and got me a microwave and whenever I called the restaurant I got dishes. It was really good stay and I enjoyed myself. I will return again. I've been staying here very regularly for the past 2-3 years, as its close to my company's office and they provide shuttles etc. It's a big hotel, holds many large company and private events, with ample parking. Having said that, the rooms have aged over time and need to be renovated, especially the bathrooms. But... I've been staying at the club floor since the past few times and it's so much better than the other floors. There is also a club lounge with free access to those staying on the 6th floor, and the staff there are very sweet. This time especially, my stay (from August 20-22) was great. From the lobby staff to housekeeping, everybody was extremely facilitating. Room service menu still leaves a lot to be desired but the overall service provided makes me ignore it. This is a business hotel. It's super close to many offices. This hotel is used constantly for business conferences. This hotel would not be my first choice. This hotel is easy to locate right off the freeway. There is plenty of parking to the right of the hotel. Amenities are ok and WiFi is NOT free. That is a BIG issue for me especially for people needing it for work. For the price of this hotel, WiFi should be free. Breakfast buffet is not free either. The paid buffet was decent and we had that three times during our five night stay. The hotel, I can tell has been here for awhile. It's a little old but made a few upgrades in the structure and decor. To me it was odd to add the glass middle dome part of this hotel for the dining area. It didn't fit especially, for those that have rooms above it; this would be their view. The hallway rugs and rooms rugs are old and had lots of stains on it. The furniture was a little old or worn but bathrooms were nice except my pet peeve for the shower heads were not cleaned. The beds were comfy and clean. Blankets and pillows are made of down. Our balcony was a skinny one that you can only stand in. You won't be able to fit a small chair or table. We could not swim in the pool as it was super windy and cold the day I had time to swim. The pool area was nice though with a little waterfall. Service and hotel was good but they had a hard time connecting our devices to their paid wifi. It should be easy enough, right? All in all, everything was good but not sure this would be my choice of hotel to stay in Maitland. Let me start off by saying, I am ridiculously picky when it comes to hotels. I spend an ungodly amount of my life when I'm traveling, looking for hotels that contain the most value for my dollar. This Sheraton contains it all! I will say, if you are wanting more up-to-date accommodations, stay in one of their updated suites. I had forgotten my hair straightener and curling iron, and they provide both upon request, professional quality styling tools at that! Their front desk staff, though I DO NOT feel this way about all of them, Kurtis was most accommodating and polite! I give him 5 stars on quality customer service! We have stayed here many times over the years but the place has slipped of late. The bedding is rock hard and many of the rooms need a total refresh. I had a leadership conference and had to stay over night. The conference was held at this Sheraton. When arriving the valet/parking was a bit confusing on where to go. The cost of Valet overnight is $20 and self parking is $12. Not bad. The registration staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel lobby is pretty and their conference rooms very nice. My room was a nice size but a bit dated and not much lighting. Bed was comfy, bathroom a nice size and TV was a good size. I had forgot my tooth brush and tooth paste. I called down to customer service and within 5 minutes they brought me both. They had an Irish pub called An Tobar Irish Pub that I will do a review on separately. Overall it was a good experience. Read this review and why I gave it 5 stars! I booked this for a conference I attended. It was a great easy location to drive 15 min. They were very nice. It's not perfect, in the sense that it needs work, paint in areas, a little older feel. But I thoroughly enjoyed the roominess of the hotel. Starbucks, breakfast on weekend. Read at the pool. It was very comfortable. Met some nice people. By myself, felt safe. I would recommend this place and that's why I gave it 5 stars read more

I'm overall really impressed by this hotel. I had occasion to come here as my work used a meeting room here for approximately 100 people for a whole-day workshop. From the start, it was great! The hotel's entrance had its own stoplight, which meant arriving and exiting into on-coming traffic was just super effortless. Also, the parking lot was massive and it was quite easy to find an empty spot. Walking into the hotel, it was bright and cheerful and clean. The meeting room we were in was super spacious with good comfy chairs and a fantastic setup which really helped us with our workshop aims. I also want to give them an extra star as they positioned a staff member on-site during our workshop to help with audio-visual, and that meant there were no technical issues that were experienced. Since we had a full day workshop, I also got the chance to try out their food options. At breakfast, it was a really good freshly-cut fruit platter, followed at lunchtime by a buffet consisting of sandwich and wraps options, and then finally a cheese platter and a Chex-mix bowl in the afternoon. It was good food for the most part. At lunch the veggie wrap option had a generous amount of serving of the grilled vegetables, but I felt there was too much mayo in the potato salad. The packet of chips/ crisps brand was very delicious - I took some extras! Overall it was a very good service offered by this hotel and I definitely recommend it if you are looking for a space in the Maitland area, to hold company events. Yelp 122/2018 read more
