The teachers are attentive and patient, and always willing to help out both those who struggle, and those who shine. The school is situated on huge grounds, which makes sport a priority: There are all kinds of teams which play other schools. There is also a swimming pool and indoor sports hall with stage. Year 5s are given a separate block to keep them apart from the rest of the school for lessons. This means that they can get to know the layout of the school and not get lost in those daunting first few weeks. An excellent and supportive school to send your child to.

A new sports hall was built a couple of years ago which provides the local community with sports facilities as well, giving a range of activities and school holiday activities. The school consistently gets good exam results and good OFSTED reviews, last being visited by OFSTED last year. The current head teacher seems genuinely interested in the children and has a good team around her.

as a student a framingham earl high school, i should know an awful lot about it. the teachers are…read morefriendly and the pupils are nice too. we have assembly once a week and exciting form times. we have five 1 hour lessons a day with a 50 minute lunch and a 15 minute break after 2nd lesson. the food is good for school lunches and they are made by the kitchen staff that very day in the canteen. the school is a sports college and so is very specific about our fitness. there is an anti bullying group in school called taboo where pupils can go if they have any problems or troubles. the sports centre is open for the public to use during the evenings, at weekends and in the holidays with numerous clubs for people of all ages.

The building is a fantastic purpose built structure on two levels designed to look a bit like a boat which highlights the vision of the school that the children should be on a 'voyage of discovery'. As you would expect it has all the latest in technology and ICT equipment in the classrooms, as well as a separate computer suite. The hall is used for school dinners and assemblies as well as for PE with it's excellent gymnastic equipment. There's a lovely new library which is well-stocked and a cookery room. It even has an outside circular classroom on the top floor with a 'sail-like' canvas covering. Also outside there is an all-weather sports pitch (muga-pitch), grassy areas, a wildlife garden and pond which is still underdevelopment and several play grounds, one of which has an 'amphitheatre' for lessons and shows. It certainly looks the business but of course has yet to prove itself. Certainly the staff are lovely and seem dedicated and I'm pleased with the progress my child is making at the school and she's very happy there. They aim to make every child 'the best I can be' and I wish them well with this!

Neatishead C of E Primary School is the school that I attended all those years ago (although back…read morethen it was called V.C Primary School). When I went there, there was a headteacher that was quite incompetent, and in the end resigned before she got fired. After that, we were put on special measures and got a super headteacher in to fix it up. He did a great job (although he was only temporary) and the quality rocketed. After that we got a much better headteacher and everything went smoothly. Now the school has yet another headteacher, who is fantastic and really cares about the children. It really is a tiny school- when I went, it had 84 pupils and I was one of 7 people in the whole year group. Now I think it has even less- about 67- which means that the pupils get lots of attention from the teachers and are more focused in class. The year groups range from Reception to year 6, then the pupils move on to high school. This school places great importance on learning about Norfolk and the history of Norfolk, and I remember going on great school trips such as a ride on Ra, the solar panelled boat on the broads and (well, they seemed exciting back then!) the fantastic ponddipping trips, not to mention all the sailing trips on the Norfolk broads.

Unfortunately, a lack of funding has meant that several of the groups have had to close - including The Baby Cafe, which is an essential support group for new mothers. As my child has got older, I have found the centre to be less useful. The staff I have mentioned remain fantastic, although there is less for my daughter to do. That doesnt affect me greatly as I found other groups and activities for her to aide her development and keep her interest.
