This is an absolutely stunning venue. The outdoor wedding chapel is beautiful and provides such an intimate experience. And if weather doesn't permit, there is an indoor chapel that is equally as beautiful too. The reception portion was very nice as well. My only 2 complaints with the venue was the food & the fact that the restrooms were totally outdated. The hors d'oeuvres served were, some type of garlic wings, fried potstickers I believe with cream cheese and spinach, and they were OK, but the star of the show for the hors d'oeuvres were definitely the meatballs. The dinner included, a very dry chicken breast that seemed to be seasoned in Italian seasoning, only. It was tough, there were also mashed potatoes that were very dry. No au jus, no gravy no nothing, they served a basic salad and some type of roll that was wet, and the star of the dinner were the green beans. They were very well seasoned and fresh and tender. The meal was subpar at best, and the sad thing about it is that you don't have an option of having food catered from any other venue except this location. Based on the food, if I was seeking a venue, I wouldn't rent this place because I'd be bound to get the food from them and it was not good. read more

*Corrected* Con's: People were seated before our scheduled time. The actual start time was not honored. The music was not played accurately at the ceremony and reception. Our USB wasn't used during the reception. TERRIBLE service!! Every guest (that I spoke to afterwards) complained about the service from the staff. The waiters and the bartenders were not friendly. From not smiling, to bumping elderly people in head with their elbow, slamming down plates of food and giving out used and dirty forks. Poor Communication! The day of coordinators had a hard time following the details that were agreed to prior to the wedding. Pro's Beautiful venue! Decoration was beautiful! Food and cake.. delicious! It was a beautiful day for a wedding, but it was hot. We had to sit outside which was fine. But they should have had tents for times like this when you have elderly people seated outside. The grounds are BEAUTIFUL. Everything was lovely for the outside wedding. But the 2 ladies that controlled the sound system was garbage. That spoiled the whole mood. The Mikes were constantly in and out. One minute loud, one minute low, sizzling and sketchy. I would want my money back after seeing the video, bc it was that terrible. The wedding should've started at 1pm. It didn't start until almost 3 and at no time did they check their sound system before the wedding started. Very unprofessional. We renewed our wedding vows July 19, 2024 at Pristine Chapel in Jonesboro , GA. Pristine was my place of choice because of its enchanting beauty inside and out. It was a lovely and festive occasion! My niece wedding was on September 22nd. The venue was beautiful. My niece was a beautiful bride. The staff however were not friendly at all. We had an open bar and the bartenders and servers were rude. Not friendly at all. Pretty much felt rushed. They locked all the doors after the ceremony except the reception room. They made us clear out the bridal suite and bridesmaids room as soon as the ceremony was over. So we rushed right after the pictures were taken to clear out before they locked the doors. We felt rushed to eat. The servers were clearing the tables before people were finished eating. Setting the cake on top of dirty dishes. If you want a beautiful location then make your reservation at your own risk the staff is a different. read more

Our wedding at Pristine a chapel was beautiful. Melanie was great. There were a few "bait and switch" tactics along the way that took us by surprise. We also hired our own wedding planner who despite her efforts to work with the venues planners, she was pushed aside. The cherry on the top was the "DJ" none other than a regular staff member played the incorrect wedding party entrance song. All songs were played and confirmed by the staff member at our final planning meeting so it was very disappointing that this occurred. This place is immaculate and beautiful no doubt about that. However what I was truly disappointed in the fact that within only two days of having to tend to a family emergency and fly out of state, I requested to cancel my contract. I paid the down payment only to get back a smaller than expected amount only after two days of cancellation. Please ask questions pertaining to your contracts and look for other venues as well that would be more than willing to offer back your refund should you need to cancel within a certain time. I can not recommend here because of my experience. This is highway robbery to take most of someone's deposit in a matter of two days. This still hurt my fiancé and I bank account as we saved for this money and have to find means to replace it and start somewhere else. Shame on you. read more

In addition to a few weddings it has been my opportunity to attend two celebration of life events at The Pristine Chapel. Each time the food was delicious and varied. It is a great venue for its beauty. Not only is the inside elegant, well maintained and clean but the lake itself lives up to its name! Nestled in the woods yet convenient to the interstate and just 15-20 minutes south of the Atlanta airport lends to its attractiveness. Based on the 6 plus times I have personally experienced events at The Pristine Chapel I would highly recommend them to family, friends and strangers. In recent years we have also established a professional relationship with the chapel and they are one of my favorite facilities. 3-5-17 is a day that will always be remembered, I married the man of my dreams and I could not be any happier. To ensure my day was nothing less than perfect MANDY T did everything she could to make everything go smooth as possible. On Thursday (3-2-17) when only 5 people attended the rehearsal, I was stressed and nervous about a lot things. She reassured me things would be perfect and it was!!! I am still not a fan of Pristine Chapel and even less now that the business owner has commented on my review. You can clearly see from her comments to all the other reviews that she is condescending, rude and just not customer service oriented. You can see from the reviews that all the other yelpers complained about the same things, but yet, from Pristine Chapels' point of view, we are the problems. So brides, go with your gut on this and just think, if this is how this business responds, do you really want to do business with them and trust them to pull off your big day? I attended a wedding here recently. Overall the wedding itself was beyond beautiful. I have two complaints: the first was as you enter the females and males were divided into two different parts of the venue. My boyfriend did not want to be separated so we sat in our car u til the wedding began. The next was the manner by which guests were accounted for at the dinner. Each guest had a name card and were alphabetized (a-l and m-z). Now because this was my boyfriends family we stood in a long line according to his last name. When we got to the table we learned that there was no Plus 1 system. Therfore i now had to stand in another long line. There's a small little lake in the front to get marry and to take picture. I just love love love the view of this place. To say that Pristine made our dreams come true would be an understatement. Not only did I marry my bestfriend, but we got married March 15, 2020 literally hours before being placed on "gathering restrictions" due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Melanie Rivera is THE BEST coordinator EVER!! From the time we met via email until leaving the venue on the day of the wedding she made me feel at ease. The day of the wedding I was so calm and relaxed, and didn't have to worry about ANYTHING. Melanie and Zach had everything under control...everything ran so seamless (makes me want to do it all over again...LOLOL). I can remember emailing her at crazy hours of the night not expecting her to reply until the next day, and to my surprise she was UP! Her expertise in this field helped my fiance' and I know that we were in great hands. During this process our family experienced a situation where I wasn't sure if I'd still be able to move forward, and the owner, Ms. Alice, called to talk to me and offer various options. This small gesture showed us that they are not in it for the money, but because they love what they do and who they do it for...their clients. It's no wonder that they have been the choice for several members of my family--- one of my sisters (married in 2000), my cousin (married 2015), my brother (married 2019), and now me (married 2020). My initial contact with Pristine was with a staff member named Cinderella! I thought, how appropriate for a fairytale wedding - which was our dream! Well, that dream quickly turned into a nightmare. We made it clear the time needed for the event - our wedding. The time was 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and was told that the time could not be locked in or held. So, my fiancee went for a tour the next morning, filled out a form, indicated the time we wanted - the morning wedding. No problem! Cinderella indicated she would email the contract that afternoon. She said she needed to go over it with us line by line. When we did not receive the contract, I called and left a message. Was told that she would be back at 5 because she was at a rehearsal. However, was assured she would see the message and respond. But she did not. Contacted Cinderella at the beginning of her scheduled work day. Found out the time we wanted was no longer available. My fiancee was livid! However, I received a call from Alice (wonder if everyone has fairytale names?) who assured me there was a terrible mixup and she would do everything possible to straighten out the wrong that put gloom on a day that was to be wonderful. My fiancee was impressed with the surroundings, building, sound system and decor. I am hoping for a beautiful wedding, delicious food, and a day that will live in my heart for the rest of my life! My 2 star rating is due to a mixup that really could have been avoided. However, will give an update AFTER my special day has been amended - as assured by Alice! Concerning reviews, notice all the major review sites; in each review that is less than four stars or so, the owner responds back with something along the lines of "please keep in mind our 5 star reputation" I vehemently believe that five star reviews do not cancel out or dismiss 1 or 2 star reviews. The fact is that PLC has mixed reviews with some good and some unfavorable. The recap of my personal experiences are things that happened to me or were said to me and are not negated by any other factor. Furthermore resting on the reputation of a few good reviews instead of emphatically addressing problems that are brought up, indicate defensiveness and lack of problem solving to help the person giving feedback or grow as a business. Also using language like "it is impossible" is dismissive and de-valuing of a person's experiences from their perception. When someone has it made up in their mind that a matter is impossible, it closes the dialogue of exploring opportunities to revolve matters. This is exactly the type of "dead end" language used with me at the time I was conducting business with the staff, and it made it incredibly difficult to reason with them. At one point, I even made a desperate plea suggesting that I'm the bride and am paying thousands of dollars. I have essentially hired PLC to carry out my wishes. This notion was scoffed at. And I was with a series of condescending epithets such as the ones mentioned in my initial review. In addition, when they apologized, it was still done with an accusatory matter such as "We are sorry for what YOU didn't understand" or "We are sorry that YOU don't trust us to handle the details of your day" etc. And it wasn't just what was said but it was how like the old adage goes, it's now always what you say but how the remarks were said. The owner became "unglued" at times raising her tone and being boorish in speech. I've personally never witnessed a business owner use such a casual level of words (i.e. you don't run anything here) in a "professional" setting. Not only were these things said to me but were done in the presence of my mother, which I personally deem to be a whole different level of disrespect. She sat there more stunned than myself, at the events that had transpired. Then after this very weird and goofy ordeal, the owner made request that I not write any "negative" reviews on any review sites. My intent for sharing my experiences is just that, to share my experiences based on my perceptions and learning of what happened during this bad business deal. It is just based on experiences with how I perceived my treatment to be, I don't even have space to discuss cost (they have a huge binder in the waiting area with the prices of most of the major venues in the Atlanta area for quick comparison), logistics, or rules and guidelines such as being told that my bridesmaids would need to leave their things in the car on the day of the wedding. There were small things I noticed before I chose Pristine Chapel as my venue, but I ignored the signs telling myself that it was a one off thing or that maybe things have change but I ended up finding myself in a weird, uncomfortable, and unfix-able situation that left me feeling exhausted. My advice to other brides (and grooms and their families) is to please do your research well, not just in wedding planning, but in life for anyone you do business with that involved a lot of money and ask really good questions, listen intently to the answers, pay attention to the finest details, and trust your intuition. If you want a fairy tale wedding that is stress-free, affordable, and elegant....your search is over. Pristine Chapel is a one-stop shop venue. You can pick and choose from the all-inclusive services they offer. The easiest way to go is to just use all of their services but you are free to bring in vendors of your own if you choose. We used almost everything that Pristine has to offer. We used Pristine Chapel for our ceremony site, reception site, food, decorations, flowers, cake, bar service, invitations, and post-reception transportation. We brought our own photographer, minister and used half of their centerpieces and half of our own. At this venue you bring your own alcohol and pristine provides the licensed bar tender and bar setup. The staff is top-notch. Coordinators Melanie and Teneisha are a dream team. I can not speak any higher praises about the two of them. They have been in the business so long and working together so long that this is just natural for them. They are a well-oiled machine and pay such attention to detail. They work out every single detail to make sure your day is perfect. They really brought my vision to life. I bumped up my wedding because of a sick family member and thought there was NO way we would get it planned in time but Teneisha, Melanie, and my MOH worked together and somehow pulled off a miracle and gave me a wedding better than I ever dreamed of. It was fun, it was classy, it was elegant, and best of all it was easy and stress free. I would recommend this venue to ANYONE who wants a perfect, stress-free wedding day. There is a rolls royce included in the decor package to take you to your final destination, there is a Photo Booth included in the package and they can also put your monogram on the dance floor. Awesome venue, horrible manners, terrible courtesy. So, this beautiful venue had me memorized until I got a wift of the bad customer service. My initial conversation with Jessica was great! I expressed how important it was for my family to provide a couple small cultural dishes, she assured me this shouldn't be a big deal. I also told her i was on a strict budget that she claimed could be worked with....all lies! After she set up a date to meet me, she call a few days prior to not only cancel, but tell me none of my request would be fulfilled. Of course I was a bit flustered by the news and its delivery but then she told me "You need to chill and relax!!!" That I cant get what I want and stop worrying about how the food taste because they been in business long enough so can be trusted. Lol...this was odd to me, so I asked her why she felt the need to tell me to chill?...her reply "Your at a 10 right now". I have been in the event planning profession for 30 years. I know what to expect for an event to run smoothly. I am aware of the excessive amount of work that goes into a great wedding. We were guests at my nieces wedding and were very pleased with our visit. The event was well organized. The staff was well coordinated and efficient. We enjoyed their interactive disc jockey. Words can not express how perfect my 6-19-15 wedding was at Pristine Chapel! The planning process was seamless thanks to Melanie, who answered my millions of questions with such responsiveness and professionalism. Tenisha was there from the very beginning as she gave us our initial tour and I left the tour feeling that they geninuely wanted us to get married there. I was so happy to have Tenisha coordinate my wedding day. With any hiccup on that day, she was on it and the ceremony/reception went along perfectly! I arrived late and flustered due to wanting to be on time. She quickly made sure we took all the pictures needed in the allotted amount of time. She also made sure my groom and I were well taken care of and the reception had such a good flow. The wedding weather was absolutely beautiful and Melanie called me to reassure me the weather man would be wrong (She was right)! The food was not your typical wedding menu and was so so good! Even though we went to the food tasting, the food was better than I had remembered. Toni, the banquet manager, made sure all my dietary needs were met and the remaining food and drink was packed. Many guests came over to our home the next day and they were so excited to have seconds of our reception menu! Cinderella did her thing with the music as my guests stayed on the dance floor. We truly have received so many compliments from our guests that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. I can't think of one aspect of our wedding I would change. After going to other weddings, I just feel that Pristine Chapel does not miss any aspect of a wedding as it offers couples an all inclusive venue for such a good price.
