After I graduated from the care of my pediatrician at the age of 24, yes 24, and started taking my first-born to him, I was lucky enough to find an internist for my very first primary care physician as an adult. So with that being said, I do my research and investigating on a very serious note because a primary care physician becomes part of your family and you literally must be able to trust them with your life.
