Selfpay, BEWARE. Brought my daughter to Dawn Stone for a suspected fractured arm. Asked for self pay pricing during booking, confirmed at check in AND check out. Paid cash for all services and 6 months later received a bill for services. After speaking with the office manager she states their staff can only quote estimates and they have the right to bill more after a self pay visit. That is not self pay. That should be an exact amount given when requested. Otherwise state you don't offer client pricing at the time of visit. Be prepared to be blindsided by the office manager and her team of liars. read more

HORRIBLE! Over the last five years, the office staff has grown ruder and ruder (and that was before COVID19.) Now, it's even worse! High turnover among the nursing and desk staff. The current staff act like they're doing you a favor letting you walk through their door. Scheduling is a nightmare - my husband waited over 2 months and then they cancelled the appointment the morning of, then made him wait another 2 months to be seen. Back of the line....once more. Baycare Medical Group has grown too large - they don't see patients as people anymore, but as income. After they take your co-pay, they couldn't care less. It's a cattle-call. There is zero warmth and compassion for the patients at this office. We've been coming since they built this office location, and they still don't know our names and they don't treat you as valued customers. Not remotely. High turnover of Physicians, too. Just when you find one you like, they leave, and you get stuck with whoever they have left. And you're at the back of the line again. And again. Do yourself a favor and find a smaller office with a caring staff. Skip this mess. read more

Some of the front office staff are rude (Amanda is the name that jumped out at me at the moment). They always place you on hold when calling in and then hang up on you before you're even done talking. What kind of compassion and care is this when you're calling a healthcare facility? The nurse practitioner is becoming desensitized and does not show much concern or empathy as she did when she first started working at this practice several years ago. She rushes out of the room before you can express all your concerns stating she doesn't have enough time since my "issue" (as she called it) was not listed in the chart when I came in for the visit. I have never been treated this way be any healthcare professional. Things can come up, just like that. I've been coming to this practice for many, many years and the staff really needs to learn to be sensitive to patient concerns. Otherwise, why work in this industry if you don't care enough or dislike your job. Treat people how you like to be treated by others, it's that simple! (Van Dyke location). read more
