I have been to other breweries and never had this historical perspective. Other breweries just show you their massive and impressive brewing apparatus. This museum, located in the basement and not containing currently operating brewing machinery, shows many historical elements, including photos of how they delivered the beer in the days of horses, and the first motor vehicle that was used in the beginning of the 20th century. In fact, that motor vehicle is in the museum and you can sit in it. There is a good tutorial on hops, and the various grains that can be used for different purposes, ranging from traditional barley to a gluten-free grain. At the end of the free tour, they give you one bottle of beer per person. After the tour, we went to the beer hall to eat and drink. There are many food options, distributed among two floors of vendors. Much more satisfying than just ordering off of a single menu.
