Then he had to scrape all ceilings in our home making sure not to gouge the underlying drywall. Then he made sure the older drywall material was secure by applying screws where needed and also supports and then prepped it, sprayed it with compound, then troweled it flat, next day applied oil based paint with sealer/stain blocker, then back rolled it to make sure all the paint was even.
