We paid him to do the flooring for a bathroom, paint our unit and he destroyed our unit!!!! First and foremost he stayed in our unit with his whole family, basically living in the unit for a couple of days without our consent. We just had the unit cleaned and he completely trashed it. The carpet was left filthy, he left his mattress, food and all their trash everywhere. Secondly, we had to have another trusted contractor come in and have to rip up his flooring job because it was done incorrectly and the toilet was leaking. We also had to get the whole unit repainted and the trim repainted as he got grey paint all over the trim. This is costing us thousands of dollars and we plan on taking legal action. I am also having to hire a handyman (thus, pay extra) to put address flaws that I believe could and should have been done by. There's a major gap in between the backsplash and the wall which Set in Stone claims is because my wall is curved (photo below). And while I don't doubt my wall has a curve, they didn't tell me this huge gap could be a possibility if I used a stone backsplash; I could have used tile, which they also sell. Plus, the handyman is going to remove the backsplash and shave some of the stone to fit the wall's curve better, something Set in Stone could and should have done. Shop around before going with these folks. I do love the counter surface material I got from them, however.
