It's not like we're made of money, and it's a hard pill to swallow, but it had to be done and I can't imagine it going any better or in a more timely fashion than this team. I called yesterday afternoon when we discovered the pump was no longer pumping. They were out here before the end of day and troubleshot the problem. They were back first thing this morning with all the tools and equipment they could need and had the replacement project wrapped up shortly after lunch. Our pump is running, tank filling, I'll be able to do the dishes and take a shower before dinnertime. The crew, from office staff to the two young men who came out to do the work, were friendly, professional, and understood that no pump means no water, an issue not only for rural residents, but all the animals we support out here. It's nice to work with a locally owned company with so many years of experience in the area that they know the wells like they know their own children. I hope I don't have to call for another decade, but if I do, I know who I'll be calling.
