I got the shoes, opened the REAX and they are worn, dirty and stained. There is white paint or something similar on the bottoms, on the side and top, there is what looks like splattered Cola or coffee. The laces are dirty and the inside of the shoe has fuzz and dirt. I IMMEDIATELY called the Manchester store and "Wayne" answered in the shoe department. He was 10,000% extremely unhelpful, rude and very off putting with his attitude. He blamed it on the delivery service I used, my response was they dont work for Academy, they are a delivery company. He then says well what do you want me to do about it? So I hung up and called to talk to a manager. The manager "James" was worse than the first guy, so apparently I was going to get no where with him either. So here I am, stuck with worn, dirty Nikes that I paid 100$ for! NEVER WILL I RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY NOR WILL I EVER SPEND ONE MORE CENT WITH THEM.....​​

I have to run for my job and I don't want to be the guy who is "in shape" but can run 1/4 mile without dying . With that being said, I despise running because it kills my feet. So I decided to get fitted at this location. Jaclyn was a pro and have 4-5 pairs of shoes in front of me within 5 minutes. She had me stand on their 3D scanner, walk on their special pads, and walk so she could see my steps. She was a real pro. Than came the shoes. She got 4-5 pairs out, helped me get them on and off and had the patience of a saint. Granted I was pretty easy and fast, but I could tell she was ready to help me all day if need be. 18 minutes and she had me in the perfect shoe....unreal and I'm beyond happy with my purchase. Thank you so much to this location for having such great employees. Value here I felt was really great. She also pointed me towards the shoes I NEEDED and not the ones that were the newest or most expensive. She only even asked for my opinion, and gave facts about the shoes. We left with much more - inserts that should help me, especially during soccer, a pair of shoes for my wife that have her excited about how well they fit and perform, and a couple other Christmas stocking stuffers. Beyond the high quality shoes, we have a better understanding of our feet... my heel has been a bit tight the past few weeks and I have found a few stretches that help it loosen up. Mimi also shared how the plantar fascia works and how the inserts are made to provide mid-arch support that should help me - I look forward to the inserts working. It's been awhile…read more.... I've been avoiding this place for as long as I possibly could. Obviously I had two terrible experiences and didn't want to shop here anymore so I would drive out of my way an go even further to Chesterfield (Amazing store). Today I decided to go to the Manchester location.....and I'm glad I did. I met Dave in the club re-gripping and repair station. A wonderful human being who provided me with exceptional customer service! We talked about grips, what we preferred, what we didn't, and what we felt were a little gimmicky (no shot at anyone who likes a particular thing ). Dave is an outstanding professional with a great personality. Don't sleep on his skills on gripping clubs either. Watching him was a work of art. This is what golf is about, this what the golf community is about. He didn't know my handicap, and he didn't care. He didn't judge me on my clothes, where I was from, he just knew I was there to get some help with something I loved, GOLF!!!! While I waited for my grips I snagged a beautiful pair of footjoys, that hopefully make my feet happy. When I purchased the grips, I lost a 15% discount on a mishap with their online ordering. The young gentleman at the checkout desk helped me get the discount attached and purchase the grips at the price I was promised online. I felt like all the pricing was reasonable, and honestly I can't find it much cheaper anywhere else. They do price match with certain stores if you show them. I can't express how pleased I was to meet Dave and have such a fun time spending money on my biggest hobby. Fun fact, I also found out Dave is a Santa clause!!! An excellent one at that.
