Today (September 26, 2025), when my husband pointed out the same deficiencies yet again, the owner, Adrian, told us "you get what you get" and insulted our home, saying that our $400K property was "cheap" and that only million-dollar homes deserve quality paint. When my husband asked him to leave our property, Adrian refused to leave, saying he "wasn't going anywhere." It escalated to the point that my husband had to call the police before Adrian finally left. This is not just poor workmanship -- it's hostile, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable conduct from the owner himself. Some might say picky...Lol There was a part he left out. It was understandable because the lighting in that room is terrible and it was hard to see. I did not see it either when he showed me the job at the end. I called him back a few hours after he left and he told me that it was not a problem. He would come back and fix it, which he did the next day. That is great customer service because I already paid him. He could have easily not have come back. I hired Adamo Painting to paint freshly installed baseboards in my house plus the master bedroom…read moreand a small toilet room in the master bathroom. David Adamo came to my house to look at the work that needed to be completed and gave me a quote for $1600 that included the paint and also included touchup painting of existing walls in a few areas plus installation of a new gasket on my front door. The work was supposed to be completed in two days, but what was completed was done over a period of four days. David had a trip planned and was eager to head out of town. When he left on the fourth day, I thought he had completed the work (minus the dorr gasket) based on my quick visual inspection. So I made the final payment with the understanding that he would replace the gasket upon his return. Unfortunately, I did not check his work closely enough. A closer inspection revealed areas where the work was incomplete and sloppy. The pictures tell the story. I sent the pictures to David and told him that I was not satisfied with how the work was completed and ask for his suggestion on how to remedy the situation. At first, he did not respond to my text. I had to send a follow up text to get a response. His response then was that he coud send another person to do the remaining work but would charge me $300 more dollars to complete it. I had already told him that I had gone ahead and painted the additional coat in the bathroom. So, essentially, he wanted to charge me $300 for someone to come and complete the work covered in the original quote which he left unfinished and unacceptably sloppy. Not only was the painting work itself sloppy, but there was paint splattered on my newly installed flooring in multiple places and paint on most every door knob in the house (also newly installed). I was left with a lot of cleanup, which I also did myself. I told David that I did not think his response was fair. He told me that he did touch ups on other walls in the house which weren't included in the original estimate (however touchups WERE included and he never once told me that he was going beyond what was covered in the original price) and that he felt the additional charge was fair. I disagreed and he said he was done then told me "I'm done. Get somebody else. Have a nice life. You guys bitch about everything." I considered his work and his attitude to be very unprofessional and I would not recommend that anyone hire him. Surprisingly, I had a good experience hiring him three years ago to paint the interior of my house hence why I hired him to do this recent work. I don't know what has happened in his life over the last three years, but his work was unquestionably unacceptable this time around and he had only one part-time inexperienced helper to assist him this time as opposed to his former professional crew.
