Three other companies came to look, not one suggested the need to replace the roof, all were focused solely on source of leak. It wouldn't have been so bad if more options were given other than a full replacement of a roof 10 years old. He left without giving any sort of estimate regarding the replacement, I let it be known that we would be getting other opinions so I am not sure how I would been able to make an informed decision without something in writing. He also wouldn't leave me his business card when I asked for one; the entire interaction seemed off. To me, it seems like he must work exclusively by commission since he immediately only offered one, very expensive solution.

I called Sueppel's in May about a deck and siding job. A guy came out to look at the house in mid-June, said he could do the job, explained what he'd do, and then I never saw or heard from him again. I called in mid-July to ask what was up, and the lady sounded a little offended. She told me that they were busy and that the guy was on vacation and would get a bid to me when he got back in early August. It's now late August and I haven't heard a peep. I understand being busy, but the response to a customer you turn out not to have time for is not "you can **** yourself and wait till whenever", it's "Hi, I'm very sorry, we don't have time to get this done in any reasonable timeframe, but here's someone else I recommend and he's expecting your call. Sorry to have inconvenienced you." Yep. Not a fan.

Not only was Benji and his team great to work with they took the time to explain the process, answer my questions, and even keep me informed through out the process from scheduling to installation. Benji even helped me navigate the insurance process (since this was my first home owners claim) and explained next steps to make sure my insurance company was kept in the loop and on board with our solutions. They were quick, clean and very nice. When they found some construction mistakes under the old roof, Benji talked through my options, explained the costs (which was very minimal) and made sure I was comfortable with proceeding with the repair. After the roof was replaced it looked nicer and more finished than the original roof I had when I bought the house. Ace Exteriors took the time to install edging that completed the look and hid the hardware underneath. Extra bonus! Overall this team went above and beyond my expectations. I've had many contractors work on my house (large companies and small) and Ace Exteriors was one of the best experiences I've ever had.
