With my previous car, I took it to a place in Portland, it was highly regarded on a tint shop industry forum. They still screwed it up, so I was a little leery about going to another shop and going through this process again. Its hard too because I recognize I am very detail oriented and picky. Autoshades met and even surpassed my expectations. They are a little more pricey than some other places I called but I have absolutely no regrets, you get what you pay for. The film goes right up to the top of the glass and was cut with nice smooth lines. I don't see any lint or dust trapped under the film either (like my last experience elsewhere). They even cleaned up the interior of my car when they were done. Staff was very friendly and answered all my questions. On a side note, on the tint industry forum I read, some folks are saying the SunTek CXP may cause an ugly green haze. I did not notice this at all, it really looks great. It even doesn't cause that wonky rainbow effect when I wear polarized shades, so yay.

If you care about quality, if you have…read morebeen researching Internet for that best 3M Ceramic tint and want that film and nothing else, and want the absolutely perfect job with no bubbles even around the windshield black dots, if you want a straight and not curved line at the top of your windshield, this is the place to go. They have plotter. You are paying good money anyways, and want it to last for years, this is hopefully an one time thing for you anyways so I'd say it is worth driving there even if you live a few hours away. As someone who had tinting done in Bellevue area and also paid top dollar for tinting there, the difference is night and day. I guess some businesses just don't have the skill and talent even if they try and seem to be nice otherwise. Well, at this place you get 100% of what you pay for - a perfect tint that you do once and the problem is taken care of. And this is small family business and Jake does all the work himself, and from the reviews I can see that they have been around for at least 6 years now, and I can tell from speaking to Jake that he is enthusiastic about the work as if this is the first year that they opened. He is a professional who likes what he does and can be proud of his work. I love that! I will be bringing all my future cars here, even if I would need to do some driving. By the way, check out their IR blocking transparent (no tint) film for the untinted areas. It works surprisingly well!!!

Update- I have a truck I wanted to update my stereo in. I installed one, it wasn't going to work. I knew this place did stereos and so I took it there. They installed one of theirs. First few weeks it worked ok ish. It didn't really fit, if you pushed ANY buttons it would stop working. Forget about changing the station or volume. I called about it and they wanted to charge me a whole new installation to fix it. Couple of months later the thing won't even turn on and it is all lose in my truck. It's terrible!!! Had they fixed what I paid them to do I would have been happy. Save your self some time, money and frustration and go someplace else!!!
