I will be in touch - however I received two more calls after that an appointment on a Friday apparently they booked me for an appointment. and then told me that I would be charged for the next one that I did not show up for. Again no appointment was confirmed with me. I called when I got back from up north and it seemed to me that they were not willing to put me on the schedule because I didn't show up for their appointment that was not confirmed with me. I have gone to this facility many times in the past I've always been so pleased with the office staff and the physical therapist were wonderful and they helped me through my rough times this place is a joke I won't ever be returning. I was there 2-3 times a week for about 3 months. They started charging/billing more for my visits without ever telling me that when I was there paying the same old amount they asked for. I never received a bill while I was going to sessions. However, a month after I stopped going I received a hefty bill. When I asked for more detailed information, I was sent a spreadsheet with random amounts paid (not what I actually paid each visit). I'm in my 50s and have two adult children. I have been to a lot of doctors and have never experienced anything like this. I played phone tag with the billing, spent hours trying to figure out why my visits increased in price when all the codes were the same. The billing department didn't help much. Every now and then I received a text from Jamie, the office manager. I responded twice with great detail about my frustration with the bill. I never received a response from her.

To make matters worse, I was hosting a birthday party the coming weekend and had so much to do. I was trying everything to get back my mobility... stretches, cbd oil, back roller, mobility ball, ice, heat, pain cream, rest, but nothing was working and I was in tears from desperation. It can be a frightening feeling when your freedom of movement is slipping away before your eyes. I didn't feel comfortable driving the car and could barely bend down at all. I had to do something or cancel the party, so I found Dr. Burr's reviews here. I'm not really a chiropractor person, at least I wasn't, but I liked that they relied on teaching exercise treatment therapies as well as adjustments, because my other experiences with chiropractic seemed like they were a repeating RX for more and more visits. I wanted a solution and things I could learn to do for myself. I also liked that he had a relationship with Applied Fitness Solutions, (AFS) where I have a membership and who I trust. Mitch was so compassionate and nice on the phone, and is so nice to work with. God bless them, they got me in the same day and I was able to start implementing the exercises Dr. Burr showed me right away. He explained my issues so well and was very personable but so clearly a professional. He really understood where I was at and knew what to do. I also purchased a lumbar pillow that helped train my spine to return to where it needed to be. I appreciated that they didn't push the purchase of this hard, and showed me how I could also use a towel, but I have to say the pillow does the job so perfectly, is comfortable, and doesn't slip that I'm really glad I bought it. It definitely made a huge difference in my recovery. It turned car trips into therapy. Two days later my pain had so improved!! I had a follow-up visit this day and Dr. Burr expertly assessed my progress and told me what to do to take my recovery further. I never imagined I could feel this better this quickly. I did the exercises frequently and they strengthened me and corrected the problem. Dr. Burr did give a great upper back adjustment as well. I'm still amazed at how fast I improved. Dr. Burr said that early treatment was key to bouncing back so quickly. I'm not out of the woods yet, but I just need a few more visits... not perpetual visits! I'm functioning and mostly comfortable. I'm so happy to share this as my success story! The party is tomorrow and it's totally happening, and I'll be able to enjoy it fully! My husband was amazed as well when he saw how miserable I was (my family had to do so much for me!) and he is going to see Dr. Burr for some back pain he has been struggling with for a while. Could I give Ethos 100 stars? There aren't enough superlatives to describe this great place and…read morethe change(s) it's made in my life. First, I am not a "team player" and I absolutely detest any form of physical exercise (unless it's opening a champagne bottle). Second, my only other experience with PT was a flaming disaster. However, in October 2023 I had a freak accident that put me in a wheelchair, but finally graduating to crutches and then a cane. Add two more accidents through March of this year, including broken ribs and more wheelchair time, and i was a quivering mess - no muscle tone, no strength, no balance, rarely able to drive a car, and a 50 lb. weight gain. I had to fish or cut bait. Our daughter and her family live in Plymouth and they recommended Ethos even though we live in Saline, MI, a 45 minute drive. Ethos has been a godsend and worth every minute in the car. The two Brads, Julie, Logan, Allison, Elle, and the rest of the staff are beyond compare. Brad No. 1 created a specifically designed regimen and helps every step of the way. While he challenges me, he always listens if a particular exercise causes undo or lasting pain and he comes up with something else. He also understands if I'm having a "bad day" and doesn't push too hard. Since March 2024, the progress is incredible. Only a cane in public but "free style" at home, driving, walking 0.25 miles without assistance, sitting up on my own, having the balance to stand up while washing my hair in the shower, and a 40 lb. weight loss - I have Brad and Ethos to thank for these wonderful life improvements. No one knows their child like a parent does but often a school or Dr. will label a child because they don't learn the same as the average child, often psychostimulants are prescribed unnecessarily. Building bridges is an amazing place with caring therapist that will help to tease out conditions and give alternative therapies to children as well as suggest stimilants if necessary. My flexibility which had a great deal to be desired has improved since I started. The exercises were appropriate for my recover in correct manner to increase my strength, flexibility and recovery. The Physical Therapist(s) and receptionist showed they cared for me and my recover. There are certain restrictions that I still need to follow for another month or more. When the restrictions are taken off by my orthopedic doctor, I will be welcomed back to finish mu complete recovery.

Clients are sitting in wheelchairs throughout the hall, nothing colorful for them to look at or keep their attention for any amount of time. Many of the client clients do not have a bathroom in their room, and those that do are shared by four people (Jack and Jill style bathroom between two patient rooms). Nothing appears to have been updated since it was originally decorated. The daytime Staff are polite and friendly, and acknowledge you as you walk through the hallways. The nighttime staff are either understaffed or inattentive, as they do not respond to the call lights in a timely manner. This facility would work for a quick respite stay, if you have nowhere else to take your loved one, but would not work for a living facility as each bed appears to have less than 100 square ft.for their "living space ".

My sister was at Medilodge of Plymouth for two weeks for physical therapy. The care was not very…read moregood, and she only received 30 minutes of PT each day. The remainder of the time was spent in bed. When she was released, her husband had to take her to the ER because her second toe was infected. The infection was in her toe bone, so the doctor said the toe would need to be amputated. What kind of nursing care did she receive that would have missed a severely infected toe? This place should not be allowed to operate without a state inspection.
