It is indeed an impressive building, about two blocks from the Mississippi River. There is street parking all around. The marker points out that the county was named in 1842 for Captain Bland Ballard (1759-1853) who was born in Virginia and came to Kentucky in 1779. They prey on people who are desperate to find some debt relief. I received a letter from this company stating they can help relieve my debt in 3 years and during that time I was unemployed due to the pandemic, my bills were piling up and not sure what to do or where to go. I finally reached out to them to help and it's been nothing but trouble. I put the credit cards I wanted in this program and got sued by one of the credit card companies that I placed in this program!! I called Provident to tell them about the situation and they referred me to a law firm they partner with-the firm did not help with my issue at all. They informed me it was more of a take it or leave it comment!! Exhausted and frustrated, I called the credit card company myself and was able to get a temporary solution. I called Provident to get my money back and have been getting the run around since. I lost $1200.00! Lessons learned.... I want every one to know not to use this FAKE COMPANY!!
