We've had such a wonderful experience at Prodigy Montessori School. From day one, we were welcomed into the warmest, most supportive community. It truly feels like a second home, not just for our daughter, but for us as parents as well. The school is led by Priya. She is incredibly approachable, deeply caring, and always has the best interests of the children at heart. You can feel how much love and intention goes into every aspect of the school. We've seen our daughter grow in her communication, independence, and curiosity since starting here. She genuinely loves going to school, and we feel so lucky to have found a place that supports our daughter's growth. My older son started TK at R.H. Dana this year. He had previously attended a preschool that was wonderful when he first started but showed signs of a steady decline. My two year old was attending the same school and we decided to transition him to Prodigy Montessori - for a better experience for him, and for a more convenient double drop off for me. Prodigy came highly recommended from our neighbor, whose son attends the school. In fact, she mentioned not only did they enjoy the school, but he was thriving. We have now been at Prodigy for two months and are so impressed with our son's development. Ms. Priya is lovely and so caring with the children. My son looks forward to seeing her and the other teachers and students, and gives Priya a BIG hug every morning. She is the owner but also onsite and devoted to the children. This is SO comforting knowing our son is in good hands. Our old preschool owner couldnt name one child at her school. Two is a challenging age, and Priya has been so helpful in including us in her teaching strategies and techniques. Every week there are new projects on display showing the children are constantly busy and developing. We are so pleased with our decision to transfer schools and highly recommend Prodigy. read more

We couldn't be happier with our decision to send our daughter to Dana Montessori!! Miss Priya and her staff are incredible. Our daughter is one of the youngest at the school and I have no hesitation dropping her off every day. Her language is quickly improving and she's communicating with us more. It's so awesome to watch her interact with all the other kids. We love that the school does arts and crafts. Our daughter LOVES the outdoor play area - some days we can't get her to leave. She comes home happy and exhausted from a day of learning and having fun. Highly recommend to anyone considering a daycare in this area. We are really happy! read more

I waited to do this review to ensure my emotions did not supersede facts. Additionally, I was afraid of backlash, but this is all TRUE and you deserve to know what your kids are or may experience here. First, this is NOT a "school" this is a daycare. There is no curriculum and any projects or crafts provided are not academic nor do they follow any Montessori schedule/syllabus. That being said, the owners will drop their rate as long as you pay cash and sign up immediately. So you decide if 1,000 a month is worth someone half ass watching your kid eat sand all day. I originally inquired about this school even though I had another I was leaning toward. However I was checking the rate. (Finances were a factor) & at MIDNIGHT I received texts from the owners offering to drop 50$ from my lowest offer monthly. I felt it was odd but seeing reviews & seeing how close it was to my work & being new to the area while not knowing anyone, I signed up. BIG MISTAKE. I'll spare you my opinions about how horrible this place is and just bullet point RED FLAGS. You decide if you care that your child may experiences this. - my daughter came home sunburned (her face chapped) I found it super odd considering I put 100 spf on her daily. My daughter informed me that "it was miss Priya's bday" so they NEVER WENT INSIDE. All day in the back on play structures, the sun exposure - wow. I was floored. No shade, granted it was about 70-75 degrees, that's rough on children. - the teacher/owner is cruel to kids, she has sayings "you get what you get and you don't throw a fit" when it's irrelevant (someone hitting my daughter or another child) this was admitted to me so it is true. -The kids are punished with naps, up to 4 hrs a day. Don't believe me? Pop in. -my daughter was left in a room WITH A CAMERA because they were under staffed and the owner had to be with the "babies/toddlers" this is illegal. -they can't keep staff because they're awful. -the owner parked in the wrong spot one day AND HAD ME WATCH THE CHILDREN, granted it was 5-10 minutes but you don't know me. Do you want me being responsible for your child + 6 or 7 others without knowing credentials? There are laws for a reason. -the teacher/owner took my daughters lunch away because it had "candy" (a protein bar ) and before you judge or say anything about a protein bar for a small child that she (on her own) selected that day- don't. This left her WITH NO MAIN DISH for lunch. Just her fruit/veggies -they say they provide snacks; they don't. -the door is rarely locked so anyone can go in and harm the children. I'm pretty sure the owner has 0 experience and just wants money & i would be SHOCKED if she is licensed, we will find out; I reported this school. If you've gotten this far, run don't walk away from this place. read more

The teachers are the absolute sweetest and we feel our daughter is well loved and taken care of. She is always playing and never cries when we leave. Our 3 year old loves all her teachers and fellow classmates at Dana Montessori! I'm so happy with the loving environment that is fostered there. Every time I drop my daughter off I hear excitement from other kids to see her. Everyone is kind and caring towards each other. I was happy to find a neighborhood preschool that was warm and accommodating and didn't feel "corporate." I also really appreciate the balance of learning and outside time. I think at this age it's so important for kids to be outside and to have free time to be creative and play with one another. My daughter's vocabulary has increased and she's always talking about new things she's learned and the friends she played with. You can tell Miss Priya really cares about the kids as if they were her own. read more

Absolutely Phenomenal! Ms. Priya and her staff have exceeded every expectation as a Montessori. My wife and I have moved a few times recently and we've tried a few different facilities for our daughter and Dana Montessori is without a doubt the absolute best. When looking for a suitable school for my daughter, I always pay special attention to the care of the staff, their alertness for safety, the overall safety of the facility, the feel of the environment and how the kids interact, and the curriculum for developmental growth. Dana Montessori, Ms. Priya, and her staff have receive a 10/10 in every category. And I am picky - so that's saying something. I couldn't recommend Dana Montessori more. If my wife and I move again, we'll make the long drive to bring our daughter here because it has been that impactful on her social, emotional, and cognitive development. My 2.5 year old loves coming here. She is so excited to go to school and see her friends. Every morning she always runs to Ms. Priya to give her a hug. As a parent I am really happy with this Montessori. My child is 2.5 and is learning more than just the ABC's but how to be a kid. She danced last Wednesday at the school and came home doing the cutest moves. This school is everything we need for our 2.5 year old and we appreciate the staff very much. read more

Dana Montessori has been nothing less than exceptional for my 4 year old son!!! I found this school because although my son had attended St.Anne's, I needed to find a summer program with more days and hours since I am a full-time working mom. Dana Montessori is so cute, clean, and most importantly the director, Miss Priya cares SO much about all the students! She makes sure all the kids are happy and learning/playing as they should at their age. In fact, she has even helped my son start to learn numbers since his previous school hasn't taught him anything about numbers. He comes home w the cutest art projects everyday too! And how can I forget how amazing the hot lunches are on Wednesday and Friday?! My son is so happy here and I am so glad we found this school and Miss Priya! Our almost 3 year old has attended Dana Montessori School since Sept 2021 and we could not be happier with our decision to enroll her! Her social emotion development has sky rocketed and she has learned so much. She's confident and independent. She knows the alphabet and letter sounds, draws and identifies shapes (can name "red octagon" "pink pentagon" semi circle, etc!), counts up to 20, knows days of the week, interested in clocks and building, and recognizes simple patterns. I appreciate the outside play!! I give so much credit to this school. I've dropped in several times and have always witnessed Montessori principles in action. What's more important to me as a parent though is my child is safe and happy every day. She talks about Ms. Priya, the staff, and her friends constantly. She's excited to go to school and is always greeted so warmly. I can tell Ms. Priya absolutely loves her children and takes good care of them every day. Since taking ownership, Ms. Priya has made many upgrades to the school and has plans to do more. It very much has home vibe which I appreciate, and a very strong parental community who has birthday parties together etc. This is a much added bonus since we were new to the area!! read more

My daughter has been at Dana Montessori since January 2021. In January of 2022, Ms. Priya took ownership and made a lot of academic and structural changes. After a couple months, my daughter was suddenly coming home doing "homework" for fun. She was counting to 100. Improved in her artwork and creative skills. What blew my mind was one day she started spelling words with no help and started reading some words. I see something new in her learning every day. Started taking my son here in 2020 after his in-home daycare closed. The previous owners were amazing from 2020 to 2021. Now under new_ownership there's a new owner and she really is amazing my son comes home wanting to learn more and more every day comes home with stories about what he did at school what and learned the staff there is amazing as well I would really really recommend Dana Montesorri to others. read more

Our two and a half year old son has been attending Dana Montessori four times a week for almost a year now and we couldn't be more grateful for the commitment of the entire team to creating an exceptional learning environment for him and the other kids. We've been equally impressed by the kindness with which all the teachers are taking such good care of our son. The teachings are diverse and in line with the Montessori philosophy. I could not say enough about these women and this stellar program!!! My first daughter left after kindergarten with a near adult reading level, doing triple digit addition and subtraction, speaking and signing in Spanish and Mandarin, OHMYGOSH seriously!!! My toddler is there now and she started reading and writing before her third birthday. This amazes me but the best part is the LOVE they receive. It is a warm family environment over there.
