The previous owner had warned me about it, but didn't know how it could be fixed. Doug and Loren came out, took careful measurements and came up with a plan which preserved the trees, which were near the house. They put in a French drain with a removable grate on the concrete patio as well as 6 separate drains leading from the house. Doug and Loren also gave me advice about how a guttering system could lead into the drains.The crew worked rapidly and took only two days from start to finish. Now my house is actually dry around the base, something which I didn't think was possible. They did a great job and at a very reasonable price. Yeah to Doug & Loren! Taking a 66% deposit in Arkansas can be legal but is HIGHLY CONDITIONAL. It is typically only allowed for contracts over $25K where the funds are used for non-refundable, special-order materials. I had a $9000 job of river rock work so I don't see that falling under those guidelines. Since I had been told the work would be completed in one to two weeks, I was pleased. Guess what never happened. I'll agree rain slowed things down, but I was told it was a two or three day job and we had plenty of two and three day's rain free. I decided after 6 weeks I was not comfortable having them do my work. I failed to mention messages not returned, no callbacks and when they did it was always we are on it, or you are not on the schedule when I did talk with someone. I'm sure that if you have dealt with them you have had the same experiences. So I sent notice I was terminating our agreement and two days later low and behold they tried to deliver material. I refused it. I had asked for a full refund and was willing to walk away. Well they don't want to do that. Said they had bought materials. I didn't get any materials and after driving by there yard there isn't enough material there to do my job. So lets summarize all this, THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY DO NO WORK AND DELIVER NO MATERIALS AND REFUSE TO REFUND. Every one be aware of what is going on here.

Three weeks later no quote and she won't return my phone call or emails. If you can't do the basics not sure I would trust you to finish the job.
