Weirton Tire was one of the local recommended installers near where my son was going to college. He and his mom were driving his car back from Ohio (to CA) and he needed a new set of tires. To complicate matters we bought a replacement rim because one of the rims on his car had a crack in it. So they needed to swap out the bad rim. My son had never dealt with getting work done on his car so he was a bit anxious (kids today aren't great communicators unless it is with other gamers on line). He raved about his experience here (WTAC). They were very courteous, professional and friendly. They disposed of the old tires and the damaged rim, at no additional cost than the standard installer cost I paid for at the time of purchase. I showed up shortly after 8 on a Monday and they were already busy. Several people were in the waiting area/lobby and two were ahead of me in line. The staff worked quickly to get through every customer and in a friendly and professional manner. You can tell the owners really make an effort to be personable and make connections with their customers. My inspection lasted about 35 minutes and unfortunately I didn't pass. They explained every detail to me and called me later to provide a quote for the service. It seemed like the prices for parts and labor were fair. They were upfront with me when I asked a series of clarifying questions and helpful in determining the best path to take. I'll certainly be a repeat customer. Note: they do have dogs in the lobby/waiting area. So, if you're allergic or not fond of them, maybe find a different mechanic.

The dealer gave me a cold shoulder and offered no help stating they don't deal with tire issues.(but that is a different story). After making dozens of calls and getting the run around by other tire dealers, Flynn's/Snyder stepped right up to the plate and took the bull by the horns. They understood my frustration and quickly contacted Goodyear and resolved a warranty claim for me. I was VERY impressed how quickly this issue was resolved. I was able to get all 4 tires replaced under warranty and even upgraded to a different tire for just a few bucks Let me tell you I am hard to please and even harder to impress. Very manipulative and sketchy. I was clear about the work that needed to be done on my car, when I went to pick it up-pressured me to pay without seeing or checking to see if the repairs were made. Head gasket blew on the way home. I was always polite and reasonable with them-but he blamed me for the car breaking and told me it was my fault he did not do the repairs we agreed on that he said he would do. So they took thousands of dollars from me and my family, in the end the car had to be totalled. And then acts like everyone else is to blame including his own workers. No wonder they are failing and needing to scam customers left and right. The ONLY thing keeping this business afloat is the free garunteed income from being a police impound lot. Shameful.

They have Castrol high mileage oil and other good products. Now the not-so-good. I bought a tire there with their tire insurance plan. The tire failed in less than a week. When I went back to have it replaced, they charged me the tire insurance on the replacement tire. I was hot. Also, unless you get here by 9 am, you will have to wait many HOURS. Seems like a long wait. I am not a morning person.
