I took 3 of our camper seat cushions on 7/7 to be reupholstered before a trip we were taking at the end of the month. This business is "ran" by a older couple which are not very professional in my opinion. After choosing a fabric I asked how long this would take to recover them, she told me 7-10 days. I asked if I paid when I picked them up and she said that I needed to pay that day. Hesitantly I wrote the check. The check cleared my bank within the hour. Two days before our trip I called to check on the status of the cushions and he told me to call back the next day. When I called back the next day he stated that he was in the hospital and would contact me when he got out. We ended up canceling our trip due to not having camper cushions. My husband called back about a week or so later and was told that our fabric had not come in yet. We're now into the first day of September and I got a call saying that the fabric has been discontinued...8 weeks later I find out the fabric is discontinued?!!! He told me to come pick out a new fabric. (At this point I would like to just get my cushions and a refund and do it myself.) So I go straight down to pick a new fabric, he then tells me it will be $70 more for that one and $38 more for another. I told him I would like to just get a refund and take my cushions. He said they don't give refunds. They are unprofessional, fight in front of customers, and take forever to complete a task. He told me that he would do it but that he would pray that I would do the right thing when I picked them up (meaning pay him the extra money)! At this point I was livid! I walked out without my refund or my cushions. My husband is going to handle the situation from here on out but needless to say I will never use this business again and will spread the word! read more
