I would not recommend ProFinish Roofing based on my experience. We originally hired ProFinish Roofing to replace our roof because of a leak affecting the guest bedroom. After the new roof was installed, we experienced water intrusion and extensive damage in our primary/master bedroom--an area that was not the reason we originally hired the company. I have before-and-after photographs showing the condition of the primary bedroom before the roof replacement and the extensive discoloration and damage that appeared afterward. AAA investigated our insurance claim and arranged for an independent inspection of the damage. In AAA's written determination dated August 14, 2026, the company stated that its inspector found that water entered the bedroom through an installation deficiency at the rake edge of the recently installed roof. The letter further states: "The inspector determined that water intrusion resulted from faulty workmanship related to the roof installation." AAA also documented damage to the primary bedroom ceiling and wall drywall and stated that mold growth was observed in the bedroom. I provided Ross Parker with AAA's written determination. Ross subsequently returned with workers and repairs were made to issues with the roof itself. However, he would not repair the resulting interior damage or reach an agreement with us to help pay for those repairs. When I sent him the insurance company's determination attributing the water intrusion to faulty workmanship related to the roof installation, he threatened to pull his workers from the roof repair. I was also concerned about how the original roofing job was handled. The company's website gave me the impression that Ross personally performs and oversees its roofing projects from start to finish. I was present during part of the roof installation, and Ross was not personally on the job. The installation was performed by others, which had been subcontracted. Insurance coverage became another major concern. After the damage occurred, I asked Ross for information about the liability insurance covering his company at the time our roof was replaced, but he would not provide it to me. I later located the insurance information myself and contacted the insurance company directly. I was told by that insurer that he was not covered by them at the time our roof was replaced. The certificate of insurance I subsequently obtained shows current coverage but does not show coverage for the date our roofing work was performed. We have been left dealing with the interior damage and the substantial work and expense associated with removing damaged materials and repairing the cathedral ceiling in the master bedroom and insulation system. I have retained AAA's written determination, before-and-after photographs, photographs of the roof conditions, communications, invoices, insurance information and other documentation relating to our experience. Based on our experience, I strongly recommend that anyone considering this company verify liability insurance directly with the insurance carrier for the exact dates work will be performed. I would also ask in writing who will actually perform and supervise the work, whether subcontractors will be used, and who will be responsible for resulting damage if problems occur.
