Told her what scents I liked and she picked out three for me. The one I bought she put in my arm and told me to walk around and sniff it for a bit and then come back. I did just that and bought the big bottle. It was worth every euro that I paid for it! Good thing is that they do have an online store and will ship to the US!! I plan to buy another bottle just so I have a back up!

Established in 1221 by Dominican friars, the pharmacy still produces natural and herbal remedies, soaps, and fragrances displayed a beautiful historical building. My favorite lotion - Santa Maria Nouvella Milk is no longer produced. I found a new fragrance - Angeli. The room diffuser Europa is my favorite. My daughter tried a lipgloss on her hand thinking it was a tester and they harrassed us because they said it was not a tester. It was an opened box on the display so she honestly thought it was! We tried to explain that she thought it was a tester and they made a big scene and embarrassed us until we purchased it.....for $20. Also the workers laughed at us and mocked us in Italian from behind the counter as we tried talking to a manager (after we were forced to buy something that had already been opened by someone else!!!) It was terrible experience and very upsetting to my girls to be taken advantage of as tourists and we will never again shop at Sephora!!!

With all that being said, I'm writing this review because of my wife and all the ladies coming from the United States. My wife packed her curling iron and brought a converter to step down from 240v (European voltage) to 120v (US Voltage). We did bring a converter and not simply an adapter. However, we were unsuccessful in getting the converter to operate the curling iron even though the converter would operate other items. My best guess for the failure is because the heating element in the curling iron will pull more amps than the converter can handle. I say all of this because we spent a little bit of our day going to various beauty stores looking for a curling iron that works with Italian plugs/electricity. Most of the local salons only have high-end curling irons. She didn't want to spend €150+. We luckily stumbled upon this place. She was able to find a 19mm-25mm (about 1" diameter) curling iron for €29. She stated it was a porcelain iron and works very well. I assume the ladies reading this will know what all that means. We did not need to purchase any additional products but they also had a wide variety of other hair care products and electrical hair supplies. They also had a wide array of other beauty supplies and nail polishes. Bottom line - she has been very happy with her curling iron purchase. It has worked very well for the week that we have been in Italy. She will definitely keep it and bring it with her on the next trip. I hope this review helps all of you frantically searching for something that works locally.

Once you get in, if you want a product engraved, you now have to wait in another really long line. Mind you, there were about 6 or 7 employees just standing around. Such poor execution.
