While he was in my home I offered to pay with my credit card he said to call the office to pay. He mislead me to think they accepted credit cards. When I called to pay my bill the secretary was rude and seemed to think it is acceptable, good and normal for a business not to accept credit cards. I was at no point informed that the ONLY payment options were check or money order. I usually choose to use family run businesses because I believe in supporting small business, but this company seems to think that "old school" means misleading and inconveniencing their customers is ok.

Our technician was Kyle who proceeded to investigate the area of concern and then treat that area as well as all other room perimeters. I wanted to get my garage ceiling insulated and the rest of the attic to R38. I requested quotes from other vendors and read reviews on each of the vendors whom quoted. I choose TLS because the tech quoting the job and the customer service person assigned to us, where friendly, knowledgeable, and great with any follow up questions. Scheduling was very easy, 1-2 weeks out, and when they had an earlier opening they called and texted to check if I wanted to stay with the original date or was interested in moving to the earlier date. Install team were great, 2 knowledgeable installers. They took before and after pictures and showed me where there were low points in my current insulation. They spent about almost 2 hours installing blown insulation and cleaning up afterwards. Proving pictures with the invoice and offered multiple paying options: Check, Venmo, and Credit Card. Absolutely no up-charge or fees when used the credit card option. I super pleased to have done my research which allowed me to select this company. What a great experience!

We called out an AC / "Vent Cleaning" service who's tech "cleaned" the vent but spent the majority of the time trying to sell more services. Turns out the light came back on about 6 months later (for a service that should be annual). This time, we called VentSmart. Dryer vents are ALL they do. One price for a vent on the side of the house, another if the dryer vents to the roof. Wayne was super friendly and pleasant. He dispatched Chris in short order. Chris was even friendlier and worked hard to get the job done right. That first "Vent Cleaning" service never checked the roof, just "cleaned" from our air-conditioned laundry room. Chris got up there and removed a HUGE chunk of lint (attached pic), then high-speed brushed from top AND bottom. There was no BS, no trying to sell other services, no surprises with the cost. Just thoroughly cleaned the house vent, the vent in the dryer, and all around the dryer seals. Then cleaned up everything behind him. Professional, super nice, and a very reasonable price. Why try it yourself or bring in a company that will try to sell you on their other services when VentSmart can get it done right the first time. THANK YOU CHRIS! We'll see you next year!
