Honestly I was, at first, thinking this was a lot. But I quickly changed my mind. I was assured they knew I chose the right hospital! Registration was so easy, the associate was extremely professional but also had such an amazing personality. She could see I was nervous, she took the time to stop for a minute to let me know I was in good hands. She wasn't saying that just to say it, she has experienced all kinds of services and she would never go anywhere else. I feel bad I forgot her name because this was 3 days ago. 8/17/26 6:30 pm is when I met her. Fast forward to today, arrival was 5:45 am I went up to the second floor and check in was smooth - all of my information was accurate so I just waited for my turn, I made sure to get names this time! My journey began with Pre-Op nurse NATALIE, best beginning to my scary day! Her bedside manner should be standard. So kind and patient, explaining everything. She raved about the ELMHUST Team in comparison to other facilities/ experiences. The next step to my journey was surgery, Nick was my OR Nurse, again explained what's happening and the team that would be in there. Margaret, Anesthesiologist Nurse and Dr Bautista, Anesthesiologist . Just as amazing Margaret heard my surprise with the OR table and helped to reassure me. Dr Bautista was fast but clearly explained what his job was and what the procedure would be. Margaret had a CCU nurse but I couldn't remember her name ( I'm sorry) she was so sweet smiling the entire team did Great! Next stop over to Post Op and Wendy! I don't remember much but I do know she stayed close, she was kind. She explained everting went well and the Dr had already notified my family. I think I slept a lot of Post OP because she said after a little while they need me to stay awake, she told me where I was going next and I was rolled away! Off to Observation a new unit in the first floor near the ER. It was really nice- clean and definitely everything new. STAFF! Kudos to all of them for their professionalism, kindness, comforting words and supportive comments. Everyone was GREAT!! I had ACL revision in my knee in 2002. Trying to avoid surgery. It would be $6500 for both knees since insurance companies don't cover it, even if I was in network. My original evaluation went well and I was looking forward with moving forward. Back to the drawing board. They really need to get the insurance squared away before making appointments. Edit: As far as transparency goes, another clinic verify insurance from the start. I had the consultation on a Thursday and when I returned on Monday for PT I was not informed that I was not in network until I questioned the higher copay. I should have been contacted by them once they knew I was not in network. One of the doctors commented about covered injections I would be paying out of pocket. I'm reaching out to another similar company and they will check on coverage from the start.

The front desk staff and the PT reviewed my doctor's notes and told me the visit would be "a hundred-something dollars" billed to insurance, with me responsible for 20%. Based on that, I agreed to proceed. Instead, they billed my insurance $360, leaving me with a much higher out-of-pocket cost. When I called billing, the manager said I must have misunderstood and claimed they don't give estimates, refused to check with the staff who gave me the quote, and told me to contact my insurance. I was also warned the balance could be sent to collections. This felt like a bait-and-switch, and the customer service was very disappointing. I won't be returning and recommend getting everything in writing before starting treatment. They billed 3 codes for every 15 min spent there, Therapeutic Procedures 97112- $126, Neuromuscular reeducation 97112 $70 & Therapeutic activities 97530- $162.00. With the ATI facility in Addison IL, I don't even know where to start. My first visit, not knowing what to expect or what to do, being greeted by such happy, smiling and helpful people, made this part very relaxed, easy and comforting. From there, working with primarily the therapists Brian C. and Prachi P., I have to say that they are simply incredible (not to mention the additional support staff)! I've been coming here now for almost three months (3 times a week) and every single time I walk into the office, I'm greeted with a smile, caring request for how I'm feeling and a genuine feeling they really do care about me and my well being... An absolute requirement with working with what are really, perfect strangers, right out of the gate. Being a younger staff, I had some concern about their level of experience and ability to really understand my condition and what was going to be necessary to rehabilitate my unique condition. Not only did they take the time to (really) listen to my experience and history, they followed up with additional questions with me so they had a very thorough understanding and then, they also have been in contact with my surgeon to ensure all of the bases had been covered... Their training, experiences and knowledge became quite obvious almost immediately and quickly eliminated any concerns I had with their ability to treat me. This is extremely important for whomever is going to be working on you to completely understand every aspect of what the problem is and what would need to be done in order to not only reach my goals but far exceed them (which to this point, they have completely done). To say they have FAR exceeded my expectations is an understatement! As for the office and equipment, the entire facility is clean and orderly and you can tell that everyone within this office takes pride in keeping it this way. There is every conceivable piece of equipment necessary to treat any sort of ailment you may have and even when they are busy, equipment is always cleaned and put back in its proper place. No one has the fear of tripping over anything or looking to see where the 'thing' is they may need for their next exercise or that laying down on a massage table wasn't first thoroughly cleaned prior to you laying down onto it. To sum up... There is all the equipment you will need, is organized and clean, the office is extremely tidy, welcoming and even has music to help keep your spirits up and most importantly, Brian and Pratchi are the most knowledgeable, caring and invested therapists anyone could ever want in a physical therapy center and the entire staff will have you feeling like you're visiting an extended family (and not just someone who is there to do their 9-5 job). From the minute she stepped into the room, she was warm and caring and gave me a run down of my options for treatment - immediately telling me that she had samples for me to try of all products before spending the money out of pocket to try them! While my visit today was completely on time, I can understand why a Doctor like this might right late sometimes, because she listed to all of my concerns and patiently responded to all of my questions.
