Never judge a gym by its equipment. First of all, I didn't even read the directions. I showed up in fish flip-flops with socks because I thought I signed up for Pilates. Turns out we were doing a full-body workout, and I definitely should have worn sneakers. That's on me. Then I walked in and they were fumbling with the TV. I immediately thought, "Lord, what did I sign myself up for? Are we about to watch a trainer on a screen and work out?" Little did I know, the trainer was standing right there. She was incredibly nice, welcoming, and helpful. Don't let that fool you, though. She worked us HARD. She was like a wolf in sheep's clothing--in reverse. Sweet as could be, but she had us working like dogs. I had so much fun. They incorporated equipment I had never used before, including resistance bands and other training tools that challenged me in a good way. I booked through ClassPass, and when I finished the class, I immediately wanted to take pictures and leave a review. That's rare for me. Usually businesses ask for a review. This time, I wanted to leave one on my own. The studio is well organized and clean. The dumbbells and BOSU balls are neatly displayed on the walls. In the back, they have steps, kettlebells, and additional equipment. The bathroom was nice and clean. Across the hall, they have another room with Pilates mats, blocks, and equipment. The space almost feels like a refurbished ballet studio with ballet barres along the walls. Parking was easy, the workout was excellent, and the trainer was fantastic. Overall: 10/10. i was really excited to try this studio. Unfortunately, there was a descrepancy between the offer that was advertised as available on theirsite and what was actually offered. The site shown # weeks at a special introductory price, whilst attempting to book the only option was for two weeks at said rate. I took a screenshot of the website (as advertised for 3 weeks) and messaged the studio.... someone then explained ton me that it SHOULD be for 2 weeks (which i understand). Here is where the problem comes in, 1) That is the studio's mistake, not mine. Thus they should honor the price that they had advertised on their website. 2) They did not. This was incredibly off putting to me and not indicative of the type of character that I would look for in a place of practice or anywhere that I would be spending money. Overall I just felt like that was a dishonorable way to handle a customer that was looking to become a new member. Even though its farther away from me than the bigger, more popular and established studios in my neighborhood, I wanted to support this studio. It appeared to be small and a more intimate vibe, however, once met with this unprofessionalism I quickly signed on for a much more expensive, yet conveniently located Bodyrok. Super professional and by the book, i'll pay more for that any day. read more

After shifting my workout focus from machine-oriented fitness classes, I am back to the basics with classic fitness approaches in group classes. Mat Pilates, personal training with weights and I decided to bring PB in as part of my regular mix. One of the great things about PB is that you can go high impact or low impact and both will kick your butt. I took Rae's ABC - arms back & core this morning - and it was killer. I thought I was in over my head with this lady's class. The pace was intense and nonstop, except when I collapsed for a break. There is no jumping (yay) but I was sweating like crazy & had a fantastic workout. Rae is an excellent, highly qualified instructor and she does not mess around. She kept me going until the class (finally) ended. Love/hate but I will be back for more. If you take her Sunday stretch class, you will be amazed that serene but slowly intense class is taught by the same person in ABC. Whoa dog, I was impressed. Dress lightly because your body will heat up quickly. Bare feet or gym sneakers - I wore sticky socks. Plus! I really like her eclectic music playlist. read more

This is the workout studio I have been hoping to find. I am not a fan of group workout classes because I feel like instructors frequently have too many clients to safely manage form while also maintaining the pace of the class. This studio sparked my eye because of how intimate the size is, and the fact that they cap attendance. The small class size and clever studio layout made my workout this morning just as focused as some previous personal training sessions I've had, and Claudia did not miss a beat with form correction and participant engagement with the workout. I am so happy I have found a studio that protects their clients and offers truly rigorous workouts. I will definitely take more classes. read more

Love coming to Project Body! I've tried several of their classes now and met different instructors and they all lead excellent workouts! The studio is clean, bright and so modern. They continue to add new equipment to classes to keep them challenging and fresh! No class is ever the same. Ass-pirations Full Body: By far the most challenging class I've tried so far at PBA and I love it! Claudia and Britni truly work out your whole body and you can feel the soreness the next day. Just make sure to keep breathing lol SWEAT HIIT- Another great class! This is exactly what you'd expect it to be- various stations where you rotate every 40 seconds keeping that heart rate up and working out your whole body. Britni is a great motivator so she helps make it go by fast! Cardio TWERK HIIT Hop- Probably the most fun class I've tried because you get to twerk! Haha The music is great and Bridgette really motivates us to let loose and put the work in! Overall, I absolutely love coming here. The instructors are all so friendly, and the classes are small enough to get 1-on-1 feedback on proper technique and posture. Thank you PBA for just being all around awesome! read more

This is a fantastic boutique fitness studio! I started taking Claudia's classes years ago, and was absolutely thrilled to learn she'd opened a studio around the corner from my house. She earned best fitness instructor on Classpass for a reason - her high energy and killer workouts have you leaving class with a big smile and some SORE muscles! The studio space is nice and bright, and classes are intimate. Workouts are creative and will keep you coming back for more. The other instructors are fantastic, and carefully selected for their energy and expert knowledge of how to work the body in a safe and inclusive way. The studio is bright and inviting - and they started offering virtual classes almost immediately following the covid-19 shutdown, shipping out fitness equipment and offering livestream or recorded classes to take from the comfort of your home. The best - I love the use of multiple props (resistance bands, Bosu balls, steps) as I never get bored and feel constantly challenged. The routines are never the same and are a great blend of cardio and strength. Coming from nyc years ago I hadn't yet found a gym in Atlanta that was intense, fun and one that I looked forward going to until I found PB. I can't recommend it enough and tell everyone to try it! I had such a good workout here yesterday! The studio is brand new but I am sure it is going to be a big success. Great instruction, interesting movements and creative use of props which keeps you engaged. Claudia is an excellent instructor. It was definitely challenging and I woke up sore today, but at the same time I enjoyed that the last few minutes of class were spent winding down and doing stretches in the dark. I absolutely love this place. The space is beautiful and the equipment is clean. I especially love the Bevi water machine that has flavored sparkling and still water. Claudia is a fantastic teacher, always friendly, making moves accessible to everyone and mixing them up, and playing great music. Where do I begin? Let's get straight to the point. I myself have been a fitness trainer for years until my health deteriorated. This year I took control back of my health. I started back working out. Boxing, cycling, and barre but I was missing something. So I searched for gyms near me that wasn't like LA Fitness or Planet Fitness and load and behold I found this awesome just the right size boutique size studio. The instructors are on point and my favorite instructor thus far is Claudia. She will push you to achieve your goals of toning, strengthening and boosting your metabolism. You will sweat!
