I took the PMP Bootcamp in April 2015. The instruction was excellent and the instructor (G. Richie) was able to keep the classes moving along well despite the density of the course material. Project Management Academy's material in class was great and the instructor used it well. Equally important, however are all the tools that PM Academy gives you. Their online resources made it easier to diagnose and fix my weak areas and the practice tests were instrumental to me passing the exam on the first try. My only critique would be to make the online practice test questions (and the multiple choice answers) a little more difficult to mirror the actual exam. The practice test questions were great for helping you find the correct answer, but the actual test questions are much more ambiguous and less easy to "work your way through" if you don't already know the answer. Overall, the course was excellent and provided me everything I needed to pass the exam. read more

I had taken the PMP Prep class from Asad Haque this summer. I highly recommend this class, instructor and company. I was very happy with way Asad presented the material. He broke down the concepts and walked through the explanations of what and why of each concept. The class also helps you with the specific test taking skills for this exam, which is so important. The PMP terminology is so similar in many of the processes that you can't rely on your own logic/experience and industry norms to pass the test. After the class, you have access to the Academy's study materials, sample exams, flash cards, etc. which was invaluable. I had a six week gap in between the class and when I sat for the exam (not ideal), but having access to these tools reengaged my learning and made it fresh in mind again. I attended the PMP Certification Exam Bootcamp in April 2016 and successfully passed the exam on my first try in June 2016. I was extremely satisfied with the preparation and teaching I received in the class, along with all the study tools the PMA provides you with outside of the class. The instructor (John D.) made the extremely long and information-packed 4 days interesting and really helped us to apply the material to everyday situations, which really helped me to better retain the information. The instructor provided us with many ideas on how to study and what information to focus on. Not wanting to have to take this exam more than once, I made sure to follow his direction and felt that I could not have been more prepared when entering to take the exam. I would HIGHLY recommend this class to anyone working towards their PMP certification. read more

I recently attended the PMP Boot Camp led by David Smyth from Project Management Academy and could not be more pleased with the experience! The course material helped me to take my study efforts to the next level. David's instructional method was top notch, as he successfully used illustrations from his own professional experience to provide real world examples of how to implement PMI best practices within my current role. David also kept on pace while having a large volume of material to cover in only 4 days. Due to this wonderful classroom training and to utilizing many of the resources on the PMA website (specifically pouring over the study guides and completing 3 full 4-hour practice exams), I was able to pass my official PMP exam just one week following the completion of the course. Excellent company and great course! Attended the Feb 2015 course and couldn't be happier with the bang I got for my buck. Instructor was Donna R. and she was great and really brought a wealth of knowledge. Absolutely LOVE all the materials PMA provides for studying for your exam. Don't waste time using outside sources (like I did in the beginning) but instead use all the study guides, workbooks and practice exams that PMA offers. I didn't realize what great stuff I had available to me until the end. I PASSED my exam on my FIRST attempt. I took the PMP exam prep boot camp in St. Louis with Gary Lind as my instructor. Gary went above and beyond what was expected and made sure he helped each student as much as possible. Gary kept us engaged and interested in the subject and genuinely cared for our success. PMP is one of the toughest exam that I ever took. I liked the project management academy very much, my trainer was Michael A. Giacalone who had amazing knowledge and experience. The 4 day bootcamp was little exhaustive but Mike made it very comfortable and interesting with several real time examples, the mock exam was helpful too. The website is quite amazing, lot of practice questions, mock exams and weekly webinars which I found very helpful. Attended the PMP bootcamp session in Jan 2020 with Instructor Anand Pulchan. Anand did a good job of keeping the class engaging, the material covered could have been very dry if done poorly. The course material was comprehensive and Anand gave good recommendations which concepts were suitable for Flash Cards so I could improve my recall and understanding. I attended the April 2016 session, and successfully passed the exam 2 months later. I was extremely satisfied with the course and the instructor John Dokos. He broke down the process in a way that made sense made the studying and memorization for the exam extremely easy.
