In January, I took the Project Management Academy PMP exam preparation course lead by Joe Snyder. Joe was excellent throughout the week in delivering the information and keeping things moving and fresh with his unique style. Joe remained not only available to me in the days after the course, but also incredibly supportive in the days leading up to the course. I took the PMP training about two weeks ago; I have to say I thought it was going to be a bit dry for me since I decided to take it in class, but not only did I have the pleasure to meet great people, I also was able to meet one of the most authentic instructors, Mrs. Kandi Hall. Since the first day, she was fantastic, knowledgeable, professional, honest, and positive. She kept us motivated and encouraged us to move forward with our goals. I believe in her outstanding ability to teach and guide others. She made the class fun, and I learned a lot. Gary Lind, my Project Management Academy Instructor, promised me if I listened to his guidance and followed the study plan he would help create, I'd not only pass the PMP certification exam on the first try, I could ACE the exam. John Connolly was our instructor and did a fantastic job! I have been an instructor and instructor evaluator for more than 25 years. Mr. Connolly did a masterful job with his interaction with the students, use of training aids and his relating the material to real life examples greatly enhanced the learning experience. Took a PMP course in Norfolk IN-person with John, and it was 100% worth it. I tried an online self-directed course from Udemy first, and really struggled to engage with the material. With the in-person PMA course, that was not a problem! John was a great instructor, experienced, and really knows his stuff. Somehow he was able to take this sometimes bland material and make it understandable and relevant. Took the class April 2022 with Dereck Beck in Norfolk. He is very informative and hands on. He spent a lot of time answering our questions and covering the material. Dereck went through practice exam questions and also gave us deep insight on logic and methodology to use when studying for and taking the PMP exam. read more
