I can listen at my pace but you are expected to complete at least 15 hours per week. I hope that includes reading the book (which is huge). Everything is clear and easy to access. I can be anywhere there is a WiFi connection and love being able to track my progress. I hope anyone considering a career change or adding new skill check them out. The person who set me up was very patient and spent over an hour on the phone with me to me get familiar with everything, answer all of my questions and make sure that my laptop would work well with the program. The instructor is incredibly dedicated to providing an excellent quality of education, and always seeks to find answers if she doesn't have them. She does her absolute best to make sure we know the material, and having gone to university before this, it is so nice to have someone care directly about my success. There are amazing support systems in place, and while you're expected to put in the work, you absolutely get just as much as you give to it. I have a major passion for medicine that was reignited after a brief period of doubt, entirely by this program. I cannot recommend it enough.

They constantly have insulted and belittled me and my cousin while attending here. It is unsanitary, and when the Covid had begun they had a student with Covid and didn't tell us until a week or two later. The staff had interfered with our internship multiple times preventing us from graduating. They refused to accommodate our needs and continued to belittle us and insult us. I do not recommend attending this school. Save yourself the trouble.

It's a mess. There are barely any instructors, and the few that are around change constantly. It feels like they're always firing and hiring, so there's no consistency and no support. I signed up for the full course to get my Class A, and when it came time for hands-on training, they basically handed me a piece of paper and said, "Figure it out." That's not training. You're completely on your own outside. No structure, no guidance, just frustration. I would not recommend getting your CDL here Class A or B at this location. BEWARE OF THIS DAYCARE…read more As both a former employee and a parent, I would never recommend Rainbow Center in Wethersfield to any family. I left this center because I could no longer feel comfortable being associated with the environment children were being exposed to. During my time there, I witnessed staff yelling at children for having accidents instead of helping them with patience and compassion. In the 2's program specifically, I personally heard a staff member insult children by calling them "ugly," "disgusting like their parents," using the R-word toward a toddler, and calling another child a "s--- like her mother." I also witnessed children being handled roughly, including being dragged by the hood of a sweatshirt and yanked by their arms. One situation that especially upset me involved a 1 1/2-year-old child who had been stung by a bee and was told to "suck it up" instead of being comforted appropriately. What makes this even more concerning is that the same employee who spoke to children this way and handled them roughly was also babysitting some of these same children privately outside of daycare hours. I also witnessed serious concerns regarding illness policies. During a hand-foot-and-mouth outbreak, children were allowed to remain in classrooms despite visible sores because staff did not want to inconvenience parents late in the day. As a parent myself, that was extremely concerning. Another major issue was the lack of accountability from management. I repeatedly reported inappropriate behavior and concerns directly to administration, including through text messages, and little to no action was taken. The employee involved remained working with children. The culture among staff was deeply unprofessional. Teachers openly mocked parents, criticized children's lunches, made insulting comments about families, and even mocked disabilities in front of children. No child deserves to grow up in an environment where adults speak about them that way. There are wonderful childcare workers everywhere who genuinely love and protect children.
