I have wavy hair that can be really fussy, but my haircut was great and has really stayed nice even as it has grown out a bit. -The mani-pedi stations are comfortable and clean, and the price is right. Again, remember you need to have time to spare, this isn't a twenty minute ordeal. -I've been in when its quiet and I've been in when its busy but the overall attitude of the staff is friendly and helpful every step of the way. My lady was very friendly and asked for assistance from one of the supervisors when she didn't know what to do about a cowlick I had. The supervisor took over and gave her some feedback on the rest of the cut I'd received so far. The whole process took about 40 minutes including a shampoo, which is kind of a long time for what I got - 2 on the sides with scissor on top. Last month I got the same cut by a professional stylist at Great Clips in maybe 10 minutes. Overall, it was a positive experience, the cut came out ok, definitely not a professional result, but for $7 for a shampoo and cut it's worth a shot.

My Honest Review of New Reflections Technical Institute - CDL Program…read more I started the CDL course at New Reflections Technical Institute in May 2025. While my enrollment date was May 5th, I didn't officially begin training until May 22nd after securing my permit. The program took me about eight weeks to complete due to a few personal bumps early on--but I'm proud to say I finished strong. At first, I wasn't sure this path was for me. Trucking was never in my original plan, and I was hesitant about the structure (or lack of it, based on what I was used to). But one Saturday changed my entire perspective. Mr. Parker shared that some students had taken longer to finish but were still supported every step of the way. That moment helped me commit to finishing, despite my doubts. Once I got serious, I learned everything I needed to know--pre-trip inspections, forward stops, straight backs, road driving, and how to safely maneuver an 18-wheeler. I was given patience, time, and encouragement from every instructor. Their support played a huge role in my success. Throughout the program, I had a ton of questions--and not once did anyone make me feel like I was asking too much. Everyone was kind and patient when answering. I even asked both Tarcell and Mr. Mason to demonstrate the forward and reverse offset maneuvers--and they happily did it, without hesitation. That hands-on help made a real difference. I also got teased a little (in fun!) by one of the instructors--Mike --but it was always lighthearted and encouraging. A very important note for incoming students: while you do have to pay for your permit and license fees upfront, the school reimburses you immediately. That kind of support--both financially and emotionally--showed me they want you to succeed. Each instructor brought something valuable to the experience, but Mr. Parker stood out during road training. He had this signature line: "Watch those tandems!" I still hear it in my head--and thanks to that, I didn't hit a single curb or sign. I drove clean and precise, and that voice in my mind definitely helped! The overall atmosphere at the school was positive. I got along with all the students, and while some were quieter than me, everyone was kind. The instructors were respectful, helpful, and genuinely invested in helping us finish strong. I give New Reflections 4.5 out of 5 stars. The only reason it's not a perfect 5 is because of my initial adjustment to the structure--but in hindsight, the flexibility actually helped me more than I realized. I want to personally thank Cielo, Mr. Mason, Tarcell, Mr. Parker, and Mike for making my experience pleasant. Your support, patience, and encouragement helped me cross the finish line--and I'm truly grateful. If you're ready to get your CDL--even if you're unsure at first--this school will meet you where you are, work with you through your challenges, and help you succeed.
