It is hard for me to state the benefits of enrolling in a Centriq program, because you will definitely get out what you put in. My cohort had very good class cohesion, which greatly has helped me and my entire cohort to have success during the program. My initial goal from taking this program was getting help through career services and getting introductory certificates. Centriq has done a great job for assisting with both of those items. I have been able to attend 3 different Centriq events, have utilized various career service meetings, and even found assistance through their recruiting efforts. So far I have achieved my MS900, and yet to achieve the AZ900 and SEC+ certificates which I plan to receive soon. I took the cybersecurity program which offered a great well rounded introduction into many IT concepts to someone who might have never seen them or touched a computer. Being someone who was already in IT prior to enrollment, I cannot say there was one time where I felt bored or like I couldn't use the opportunity to expand my knowledge by asking a question. The only time it ever gets boring is when we covered the curriculum for specific certs, which is just the nature of the test material and not a fault of the program. Whether you are coming in for a career change or a career start, Centriq definitely has the capabilities to launch you into the IT world. I cannot recommend it enough. read more

I went into their Cybersecurity Program in 2024 at the St. Louis location. I dont know how it was at other locations but I feel that the money I spent could've been spent elsewhere. 8am is when the school opens but nobosy was ever there in the morning or the staff & instructors were always late. I am grateful for the short time that I spent there but I will say that they are misleading on their programs at least the Cybersecurity. The program consisted of 98% lecture, 1% testing, & 1% hands on. As far as the career advisors go they don't have the connections stated & guaranteeing a job after graduation. Overall 25k for a program that other institutions offer at a lower cost & that deliver on their content. But that is money I wont get back. read more

I went through the development (coding) side, even many of my friends were shocked cause I have ADD, and code requires attention to details. I made it, today I graduated as a full stack web developer, and I have much to look forward to in the field. They fill your brain with a ton of information, it seems overwhelming at times, but when you go to work on your projects, with the support of your instructors & your class mates, you'll be surprised by what you retain! I've had so much fun learning code, my site is not just going to be my portfolio, but my way of sharing stories, as I feel that developers are the bards of the digital age! I've been attending classes at Centriq for the past few months and have absolutely loved it. After receiving my Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, I didn't feel like I the curriculum covered the important topics that IT professionals face. The teachers at Centriq aren't just teachers....they work in the field. They live and teach the material. Centriq has opened a lot of doors for me as well as educated me more in a few short months than years in college. Centriq also provides free food around 10 and 2. I don't know about you, but when anyone says "free food" I'm in. A word of caution to those wanting to take classes remotely. I do feel like the remote students are "forgotten" at times during class time. Nothing can beat the type of experience you will get in the classroom, and again, free food. read more

Their Systems and Security Administrator track prepared me for work in the IT field and the job placement assistance they give allowed me to interview at my current place of employment. Centriq has great class sizes which encourages a lot of one on one time with your instructors. It also allows for some great collaboration with the other students. Each Career Track is roughly 4 months, and while it is intense. It allows you to quickly learn your job and then apply it without having to drudge through a 4 year degree. Exposes students to a lot of information, instructors are pretty knowledgeable, but the big part of going to a boot camp is to get a job and they have a career advisor but they don't go much further than inviting a handful of employers that weren't even interested in meeting any of the students. I went to Centriq 3 years ago. It was overall a good experience. I had issues with a teacher so I went and talked to a counselor Nicole Trendel. She did nothing but make the situation worse for me. She told the teacher I was complaining about him letting us go too early and this in turn made the rest of the class uncomfortable for me with that teacher. He was rude to me and I was embarrassed to even go ask anyone else for help. Think the program is great but it is a bit overpriced. The only reason the employment percentage is so high is because half of them are temp jobs supporting 1 piece of software. read more

Very comprehensive training. I was very impressed with the intelligence that the instructor had in the topic. Out of many different courses I've taken and instructors I've had I'd certainly give this instructor a 4 out of 5. Centriq as a whole provided a high level of customer service. I did Centriq back in 2016/2017. I was a young, optimistic 18 year old. I had already had about a year and a half of IT experience in the field, so I was already proficient in my work/field. I went to Centriq to have help with testing and for education on my resume. It's a great place with great staff, but the information they give you is as I would say..... like a fire hydrant. You just put your mouth up to it and try to swallow as much water as possible. The online resources they give you to work on your certifications are just a joke, they steal all their content from other practice tests / websites you can access for about $20 or even for FREE. I thought I was lucky to get Canvas rights back again to study again and I've had nothing but headaches from Dayna. I told her I wasn't doing as well as I had hoped on my studying and she just cancels my rights. SO NOW I can't access any of the resources I put over 20 THOUSAND DOLLARS into. Now, onto the stuff that hasn't pushed me to write such a negative review. Centriq helped me with my resume, but what I or my classmates didn't know at the time was that this resume was full of false information that we never learned in the program. I talked to my supervisors at my job now and they've interviewed centriq grads and were usually disappointed because they view this stacked resume of things you learn at centriq, but once they ask what the words on the page meant. The interviewees would go silent and not even be able to answer something on their own resume. It's throws out your credibility on saying you know what you know, or you even are who you say you are. Overall, if you want to get into computers. Just professor messer in your free time and save the headache / pain in the ass Centriq is. Lastly, the instructors are cool... i'm sad they have to deal with such shit resources and have that on their conscience. It's a shame read more
