A complete roof replacement had been done on the home about 15 years ago. The building code did not permit the metal roof to extend over the patio because of the patio's slope and modified bitumen roof installed. Over time a corner area began to lift and a small area along the flashing began showing a small leak in a bedroom. The roofer had gone out of business and we couldn't get a response from the product warranty so the search began for a roofer. We learned not all roofers do the repair we needed and not all roofers are interested in anything less than a full roof replacement. My initial quote was in 2021 and I reached out again to FSR mid-January 2024. The cost increase from the initial quote was anticipated but completely reasonable. The final inspection was approved in the second week of February. The process could have been even faster if we hadn't taken so long to sign the documents. Our experience with FSR was fabulous. Everything was done via email, text, cell and DocuSign. Communication was excellent. FSR did all permitting with the county. Once a start date was established it was completed on day two as projected and the final inspection completed and approved on day three. We know as our main roof ages who we will call when the eventual replacement is needed. It was a great experience and we would recommend FSR without reservations. The workers were incredible working long hours, being courteous to inquiring residents, and ensured that the area exposed was carefully protected to ensure that the area was safe. In an elderly community, that was a critical factor as they are often curious (it helps them to ask questions to occupy some of their time). Your team are dedicated employees and handled interruptions from residents in a friendly manner. The residents in our building are impressed with the job. The repair comprised of removing all the pavers for 12-14 feet, leveling in order to pitch the water retention toward the open area. With a building 40 years old, matching the older pavers was a pleasant surprise to see how closely matched they were. As the Vice President of Bimini Association, I had to relay how happy and appreciative they are with the professional job. No one would ever know that a huge section of repair. The residents especially the residents that were affected by the 3" collection of water from heavy rains that did not dissipate for several days. Obviously, it was imperative that it was done because standing water was a safety hazard. Your company had also done a complete renovation in one of my units on the top floor. I am remiss not taking the time to show my appreciation on behalf of the building residents an myself. The level of professionalism for your team and yourself was outstanding. I t is refreshing to see the owner coming out daily to inspect the progress and the quality of the work performed. Every day whether it was the repair of the major renovation, all the building rules were followed. Your workers made sure on each job you do that the public areas are clean when they leave. There were multiple issues, A wheel barrel thrown off the roof of the 4 story build. Tar got into the ac condensate line that 3 of the 4 units had to have the walls cut open and the pipe changed out. On the first floor we had to have the foundation of the residents patio dug up to get the condensate line replace under the patio. Rocky said it was not them. They also closed off one of the mansard hatches on the roof. Their office could not get the invoices correct they had the build numbers and invoices missed matched, and after I sent them copies of the invoices they sent us and gave them a copies of the checks we sent to them their office still could not comprehend the invoice was paid, they even threatened going to court, I was ready as I had all my paperwork in order (it never went to court), I even offered to go to the office and help them out. There were a total of 4 buildings that were 4 stories that were contracted with Rocky to re-roof. There were 2 fires that got out of hand from the tar pot and the fire department had to be called. Im glad that the people that hired this company for a single family house we satisfied However I would not recommend this company for anything over a single story. Do your homework.

When we received no answer, we contacted Richard again via phone and he said he would get back to us to schedule a date. Several days later we received a quote and told him to proceed. He then advised us that he requires payment PRIOR to showing up to the job! We explained that we are a property management company located in Palm Beach and would need an invoice and proof that the work was completed to issue payment via credit card, PayPal, or check. (His choice) He again demanded payment in advance or would not do the job. After having been in business for 35 years in South Florida we recognize the number of Hialeah Hustlers and con men who demand payment in advance and never show up to the job. We offered to send a copy of our business license as well as a copy of the deed to the home to show proof of ownership but he still refused and demanded payment once again. At this point I thanked him for his time and informed him that we would no longer be requesting his services on any of our properties. He then called my cell phone and began ranting angrily and talking in hostile tones about threats. Not sure what this guy thinks he's selling or what he believes he has to offer over the 600 other pressure wash companies in South Florida but "Shady" doesn't begin to describe the ordeal we just experienced.
