She basically took the assessment fee and ran. My daughter and I went to the Center the next day and I received the results which I had already new that my daughter needed help in reading. I told the director that I could only afford two hours a week. She than suggested financing which I was declined. She then stated that the center offers personal financing and she had a few spots open and that she would call me the next day with the results. Several, days went by never heard anything back from Jessica Hensley. I called more than five times for several days speaking with different staff members they would place me on hold and then return stating she would call me back which never happen. I am extremely disappointed by her behavior. I am a tax payer and have resided in Troy, Mi. for several years. I'm not sure if we were the wrong skin color or that I could only pay 400.00 dollars a month or what. I never asked for a hand out. I do no that the residents of Troy have changed over the years and she will have to learn how to adjust. But, I do no that every child deserves a chance to further there education. Jessica stated that she was an educator she needs to go back to school herself. I will let people in this community no exactly how my daughter was treated.
