This is perhaps the most well hidden gem of Macomb County. I…read moresay this because it's located just off of 23 mile, it bolsters a great range, and the variety of product, ammunition, and firearms is second to none. Do you want or need something that you just can't find in a store? This is the place you want to call, show up, and get a good deal at. The courses elsewhere do not compare, whether it be CPL certification, recertification, or more advanced ones. They also have a specialty course designed for women's self-defense that I do hope and intend to take my daughter to when she's of age. These gentlemen are incredibly respectful, kind, and are willing to help you out. No judgments, and are willing to give you the insight that they've learn learned through years of technical training, local/state LE, and military experience. As a woman, I do understand how daunting it may seem to decide on where to go, what kind of weaponry to choose in this day and age. The staff at CQT make it an easy choice for me. I took my CPL re-certification course out here with Dutch, and also had some pretty awesome insights from both Brian and Brandon. Chris is always there keeping me up on tabs about firearms and he even helped me out with adjusting one of my sights. I am fortunate to say that I feel pretty darn welcome here and the people here are always willing to help expand my knowledge and understanding.

Wow, didn't know I would be attacked for writing an honest review. I would like to start off by…read moresaying if I'm lying we can clear this all up by you posting the conversation we had when I first came in the store. I literally showed you on my phone then you walked out with it and went to your computer. I said something along the lines of " I seen it for 853 so I wanted to come here and buy it." If you didn't want to sell it for that price why didn't you say something before we both wasted our time with the paperwork and background check? I'll say it again, if you think I'm lying please send the footage to me or post it. Also we seen you change the price on the computer when discussing it at your desk before you started to get upset about it. You're so flamboyant you typed in the price change with one finger hard as hell lifting your hand about 6 inches above the keyboard with each press of the numbers. This is unbelievable, also I feel like you tried your hardest to call me everything besides the hard R in the messages. I'm not calling you racist but just wow man, it sure looks like it. I didn't call you out your name not one time. I also have a class a license so I don't smoke or use any narcotics. But you seen that when we wasted our time doing the paperwork for my background check. The store we went to right after we left didn't say anything about smelling like marijuana either. Pretty sure they would have made me leave like you were supposed to since I apparently did. That just goes to show that you're lying because you're mad. This is unacceptable. And upon us leaving his car was having trouble so he parked at the bank next door and I believe he had it towed later that day. You can also go in there and fact check that as well. I will be buying another firearm soon just to see if they'll let me at another one in the area. If not I guess we'll have another problem at hand. Also please look up the word integrity and remember it's pretty important when owning and running a business. But since yours is closing I guess it doesn't matter. Edit: he has edited his response over 100 times(I'm not exaggerating). I was also threatened that if I didn't take my review down he would send a letter to the atf regarding the us smelling like marijuana. There was no smell at all so this is a lie. We were in the store for maybe 30 or 40 minutes and he admitted he didn't smell it. (Cause there was no smell once again). But stated he was send an OFFICIAL letter to the atf based on what a CUSTOMER said. If this isn't blackmail or some for of intimidation I don't know what else to call it. This man is insane and I don't believe he should be able to operate a gun store. Imagine if he was a cop, He would be the biggest liability to the entire department! He also said I was being suspicious and watched us on camera. So that would mean he watched us stand in front of the car under the hood at the bank next door (off his property) for 10 minutes? Not only did he see that, he must of watched him walk into the bank to before we left right? Well he went in to let them know his car was having trouble and asked if they wouldn't have it towed because we were coming back to get it whether it was being towed out or repaired if it was a quick fix. With that being said, why send out a 2 county wide report lying about me being a suspicious person evading cameras and saying we smelled like marijuana in the store? Why call me out my name then expect me to delete the review with a sincere apology? Why change the price in front of us on your computer before telling me to "look again"? I guess I'll edit and clarify your lies everytime you add to this.

Had to drop the magazine after each shot and physically eject the spent shell. The real gunsmith at Double Action was able to determine that the guy they called a gunsmith at Sportsman"s Warehouse had installed screws that were too long and caused the ejector to hang up. These guys are the best. The facility is also very clean with convenient parking.

Longest indoor range in Michigan. It's long enough to have fun with an ar-15 for a while…read more I think most gun ranges get pretty rough reviews because there's a bit of misunderstanding from what first time customer expects when coming to a range to shoot. For example, there are poor reviews on yelp for this place because customers didn't realize they'd need to purchase ammo in order to shoot. Ammo isn't free, it never will be free, and if you rent range time anywhere you're bringing your own ammo or paying for it at the range. Thats a bad reason to leave a poor review. Renting range time also doesn't include free lessons to use a firearm. I think that's also another misconception people have when going to a range and renting a firearm - which leads to false poor reviews IMO. If you are looking for a long indoor range to fire your rifle, this place is great. I wish it was 100yards, but 50 yards is still the longest we've got in metro detroit. Ive been here twice and would definitely go back. It's cheap. The targets are free. The range is no frills. No fancy technology. It certainly gets the job done - especially in the area. But don't walk in expecting free ammo or free lessons.
