Was quoted ~2,500 for a blazer in our chosen fabric - YIKES. Price includes full lining, if you opt out of lining you still pay full price. Our chosen fabric would take 6-8weeks (not including final fitting) but another fabric choice would have been closer to 3-5weeks. Also the fabric people take a month off in the summer - usually August he said so he said if you do not order Before August it will be a 4 week wait for them to be able to order again. Overall we did not go with a custom blazer from here, due to the price but maybe one day! The other clothing sold here is very high end = pricey. My boyfriend was very heartbroken the sweater he liked was $700 lol.

I was walking through Southgate yesterday however killing time before a family dinner and decided it was time to change that. My first impression upon walking into the store was extremely positive. Whoever does their merchandising as well as those who tidy up the floor do an amazing job. Everything is displayed attractively and is super neat and well organized. There is lots of staff on the sales floor so there was no difficulty trying to find someone to answer questions. Admittedly I would have liked it if they were a little friendlier though....I walked past four staff members without being acknowledged by anybody. I didn't have any issues with the people at the till either. The lady at the first register I stood in line for appeared to be a little frazzled but I think it was mostly due to the size of the line as well as the fact that the lady standing in line in front of me was being extremely difficult. I applaud this young lady for her patience as I don't know that I would have the patience to deal with someone who was asking so many ridiculous questions and getting worked up over such minor things. I was called over to the other till eventually and this other young lady was extremely pleasant. She made sure I found everything I was looking for and did a great job of explaining their loyalty card without coming off as pushy. My one and only major beef with this place and the reason I am taking off a star is because of the state of their clearance section. More than half of the things I picked up from back there did not have a sale sticker which made it very confusing as to whether or not they belonged in that section or just ended up there after being set down by a customer who changed their mind about purchasing. Like I mentioned before they have alot of people working the sales floor and I can't imagine why one of them couldn't be spared to do some pricing. Still it was a great experience and it definitely left this hardened deal hunter more open to shopping from actual store locations instead of always hitting up Winners or the Thrift shop.

I find the staff on the floor and fitting rooms are VERY helpful, we usually get greeted by one or two people, and have a few people offer help while we are browsing. HOWEVER, the staff on the registers are very rarely friendly, usually there is a HUGE line up with only one person working the register. Several times we have put our stuff down only to be told curtly that they cant help us and make us go around to the other register to the one and only person working there, and the other person continues to just stand behind the register! This is more of a 3.5 stars for me, improve the service at the registers and all will be good!

The light fleece jackets were discounted 75% off but they weren't very thick and warm. The sale signs were confusing as some of the racks had a sign on one side but nothing on the other. I brought a top I wanted to the cash to find out the price and was happy that it was 75% off. I only got a men's button up shirt for 60% off and only $14. Good deals on lots of different types of clothes, quality isn't great but you get what you pay for. The sales associates were doing their best to organize and sort the clothes but there was items misplaced and a little disorganized. It would be great if they installed price checkers so it's easy to know the prices without bringing them to the cash. The store wasn't very busy which was great and it was after 6PM which could have made a difference. Most of the cash registers were open and there was less than 8 people in front of us so it moved fast. Often the Old Navy in WEM has a line up to the back of the store when there's a sale. I completed the survey on the receipt and my next purchase I will get 15% off.

I have noticed that the quality of their clothing has not been getting any better, and there is not much change with their clothing styles every year. Typically when I'm in this store, I rarely get asked if I needed helped. I don't mind this, as that gives me the opportunity to just walk around and browse through everything at my own pace. The staff are always willing to help though at finding sizes when you're in the changing rooms. They staff are also willing to phone other locations and ask them to put items on holds for you too. They are also very good on their return policy and make it a very easy and no-questions-asked process.

The entrance is outside the mall (park on the eastern side of Safeway). This location has a lot of different garment options available including more formal wear and more casual options. First walking in the store was pleasant enough, I was greeted and told about the sale they're having on all their jeans. But there came a turning point, I was approached by the same sales clerk four times! First two were to tell me about the sale on jeans. I thought nothing of it, there were a lot of people in the store maybe the clerk forgot she'd already seen and approached me at the entrance to the store. Third time I was looking at a sweater, I was approached and I was asked if I needed a size I said no thanks I see that there isn't a small. The fourth was to ask me if I would consider another colour. At that point I thought wow this girl is persistent! So I figured if she's not going to let me shop on my own I might as well make conversation. Seeing the condition of the store and having experience in retail myself I made comment in sympathizing with all the endless folding they must do ( making this comment while she was trying to get me to consider the sweater she was showing me). In response as politely as I could I said that it was not really my taste, she seem to take offense. My last remark to her was to say: "Thanks for your help but I think I will keep looking". Her reply was: "Well thanks for letting me unfold the sweater". Is this an anomaly in service? I hope so!! We all have off days but this is no way to treat customers especially if you want them to be repeat customers.

This store is obviously catered for the female customers as the girl's section is about two-thirds of the store. On the same note, the guys side is not too bad itself. Service here has been difficult to find, and I shop here not expecting a sales attendant to help me. The store is very clean and they have loud fast-paced music pumping to just try and get you excited and shop more. If you've been dragged here, there is a couch and tv at the back of the store; although this is usually just playing accompanying music video to the store music, it is at least something to watch and the couches can be comfortable especially when walking all around the mall. They have plenty of fittings rooms so there is rarely a long wait, and if there are staff there, they will help you look for your size.
