I don't know what he's going through but it must be something because he has a terrible attitude & temper. Very unkind and just plain rude. So first off I'm trying to help my grandmother because the knob on her dryer broke off. This morning I called Dave's Appliance and had a regular short exchange. Basically he told me I could come buy a new knob and try that otherwise he'd have to come out and would probably cost around $150 or I could just buy a new (used) dryer from him. I wanted to try just the knob first to avoid my grandma paying more money. Around 3pm we went to the store (which google maps takes you to the wrong place, it is no longer by the vacuum place). So I called him back to double check on the location. He tells me they closed up early & won't be back open till Monday. Okay fine no problem. Then I asked the dreaded question... Me: "Do you happen to know anywhere else I could get a knob?" Owner (rude & sarcastically): "No! No I don't. Hah! Why would I?" Me: "What do you mean why would you?" Owner: "Hah. Why would I? Even if I did why would I tell you?!" Me (honestly confused): "Because you're in the appliance business and to help someone who's asking for your help?" Owner (angry & yelling at this point): If you went to Walmart do you think they would tell you to go to another grocery store?! No they wouldn't!" Me (at this point I'm annoyed): "I mean yeah they might. It's good business" Owner (more upset): I've been in this business for 40 years! It's going great!" At this point I'm just In shock that anyone in the service industry, yet alone an owner could talk to a customer this way. He kept yelling in the phone and I hung up. Yeah I bet your business is going really great. Wow this poor selfish guy can't comprehend that by helping me find another place with a $5 knob, which might not even solve my problem, could result in me calling him again to come fix my dryer or to help with another issue down the line. Am I ever going to call him now? No way. Am I ever going to recommend him to someone else. Never. What a fool. I just want to help protect other people around here who might give their good money to this undeserving bitter man. I called Jessup's in Venice and Mike was extremely kind and helpful and even though they didn't carry the knob he recommend checking All Appliance Parts.

Steve's Appliance is a joke of a Business. The owner, Steve and his wife, ***** have NO idea how to…read morerun a business with good moral fiber. Steve's Appliance was hired by LG to come fix a range that has been worked on numerous times, both by Steves Appliance and another service provider who is no longer in the business. Steve, the owner, came out to fix some of our appliances after Home Depot paid him to do so. Just over a year later the range was giving us the same problem as it had in the past. This time LG exteded a warranty ticket and had Steve's comapany come out to fix the problem. The first attempt he went to the wrong address. He didnt call in the morning to confirm the apt, call when he was on his way, nor call when couldnt get an answer at the wrong house. The 2nd attempt by him was unresolved as he couldnt pull the stove out from the wall. So he left the job undone, called me while I was at work and told me to re-schedule when I could have it pulled out and waiting for him. The 3rd attempt I had everything waiting for him on a silver platter. After changing the apt time to a LATER date than what was promised the prior day, he stormed into my home with an attitude from the beginning. He turned the stove on, poked around the back and determined the issue was NULL because he couldnt get it to duplicate, regardless we have photo and video proof with TIMESTAMPS that it was defective. My wife had him call me so I could talk some sense into his thick skull, got mad at me withing 15 seconds, hung up the phone on me and slammed it on the counter causing the battery cover to fly off. He stormed out of my home slamming the front door on his way out causing a picture to fall to the floor breaking the frame. Literally 20 seconds after this, the stove threw the F3 error he was looking for. He came inside, saw it, blamed my wife that she did something to it, continued to swear at her in front of my children, causing my almost 2 year old to get scared and cry. He again slamed the door on his way out refusing to fix the problem, regardless he was HIRED by LG to fix the problem. In the process of backing out of our driveway, he backed into our trashcan knocking it into the neighbors Lawn ejecting trash all over the place and literlly peeled out in front of the house as he left. I called his wife ***** at the office and got his daughter instead. She informed me she would no longer be coming to our home to do service for us anymore and hung up. I made multiple attempts to call back but the phone was never answered. After some research, her daughter follows in her daddys footprints judging by the arrest record she has. And to anyone reading this, know that their son has a FELONY conviction for theft. Beware before you let this family into you home. Because of their lack of work ethic, Im stuck without a working range.
