I first contacted Linkins Pool Service in May, 2025. I needed an old pool removed and a new one…read moreinstalled. Darin had done work for us when he worked for another company so I thought he would be good to work with. He came to our home 5/28/25, looked at our existing pool and gave me a quote. I agreed and understood us to have a verbal agreement. Via text, he advised me on which pool to purchase. I spent nearly $2k on a new pool and then....Nothing. No response to text or calls (I still have all texts and responses.). I cleaned up old pool and used it one more season. He explained the next winter that he lost his phone and would get to me in the spring if I notified him. So, I reached out to him March 19, 2026. He told me he would check his schedule and get back to me. Three additional texts from me in March and April inquiring about when to expect him went with no response. I finally reached out to someone else and got old pool removed and new installed w/i two weeks. The folks who did it were not "professional pool folks" but did a fine job.

We have had several issues with our Pentair pump. It was installed in 2022. We have been able to…read morecover the issues fortunately because of the warranty, but our biggest problem is we CANNOT get the field rep handling the Pentair warranty work to do his part. And guess what, the ONLY Pentair technician is David Roos of Roos Pools. Our most recent issue with this pump began in January. Our communication with David Roos began on January 07, 2026. He will NOT show up when he says he will. It takes tremendous effort on our part to get honest, transparent communication from him. Pentair finally sent the part TO OUR HOME and we still could not get him to stand by his word. Pentair sent this latest part and it arrived in two days. 16 days later, David showed up after many attempts to get him there, after many lies about coming and then not. He stated that Pentair sent the wrong part and said they were sending out the next day. This was 12 days ago. He continuously tells us that the part hasn't shipped or been received. I called Pentair today and they confirmed David's story as a lie. They are contacting him and I am going to just pray no one else has to rely on them for anything.
