He showed up in person and did not leave until I was satisfied with the job. I was sore tempted to knock off a star for the undesired rigamarole, but Jeff is a man of integrity, and that would not have been fair.

Tom came out and looked it over, diagnosed the problem as a drain (that we didn't know existed) being plugged. He hand excavated the area, found the drain buried beneath rocks and dirt, and worked on that drain in pouring rain for several hours. Finally he found the clog and cleared it.
