Something about Luxe's portfolio stood out to me from the beginning and after looking at tons of sites of other Austin photographers, I knew Luxe was the right choice for our wedding. I particularly loved how she does just as good with natural light as she does with flash photography -- capturing pretty portraits AND fun reception shots! Jennifer was responsive, fun to work with, kind and took beautiful photos. Plus, her pricing was extremely fair and she provided a HUGE selection of edited images. My mom has a detailed list of all the photos she wanted taken day-of and Jennifer got them all! She seriously didn't miss a shot. Jennifer did so many sweet "extras" that she totally didn't have to do but did. For instance, mom was having a hard time getting a print shop to print one of my bridal photos in the correct size to have displayed at the venue. Jennifer said "let me handle it" and a few days later mom has a gorgeous print on her front door. Also, she treated me, my mom and our friend to drinks after our bridal shoot. Seriously, she was just above and beyond. I have many friends who don't love their wedding photos, but I absolutely adore ours. In the days leading up to the shoot, I could not get a hold of Cate to find out the location. She finally responded on the day of the shoot then cancelled a few hours later for a family emergency. When I attempted to reschedule, she ignored my texts until I asked for a refund. The session was fine and she assured us we'd have the photos by the Monday before Thanksgiving. She ended up missing multiple deadlines for delivery of the photo files. She is now refusing to deliver until Dec. 28th (after Christmas). She is dishonest and unprofessional. You have a lot of options of photographers in this area. I highly recommend you take your money elsewhere.

When I went to make arrangements for the credit to be used, she informed me it was past time. After I reminded her via screenshots of our conversation where she said it never expired, she proceeded to be unkind, condescending that I would try to redeem what I had already paid full price for, and refused to offer any solution despite her knowing full well what she had promised to me. She is dishonest and not willing to be a person of her word and is not willing to be compliant with what is listed on her own website as a rain-out policy. Save yourself the money and the hassle and look elsewhere!
