Bought my counter tops from prosource some years back and had a good experience. Decided to try them again for some backsplash tile. Gwen was very helpful and patient with me, it took me about 3 or 4 months to decide. Received the material in a reasonable amount of time. As far as price goes, I cannot speak to that because I did not shop around to compare. Service overall was average, did not feel the same fuzzy feeling with other staff as I did with Gwen. Im soley giving this 5 star rating because of Gwen, she had very good customer service, called me every once in awhile to follow up but was not over-bearing, but when she was not there, I didnt get the same level of service. This place is a 1 stop shop which I like and has a good selection. Recommend to go in and check them out. read more

All sales final! Stay away from this place! I went in there to chose my tile with my contractor and everything went well, so I thought. A week later the tile arrived and the very next day, my tile guy got to work! Fast forward...The ugliest tile I had ever seen and the variation of the colors was so obvious! I asked him to stop and immediately called to ask what was going on?!?!! I was told that when I made the order I had to chose a level of variation suitable to my taste...I WAS NEVER ASKED THIS! In addition, I wasn't informed that ALL SALES ARE FINAL, no exchanges and no refunds! You can tell the customer satisfaction is not their priority so for that reason, go elsewhere. Lots of promises but short on delivery and execution. Began to worry when my agent Alex didn't return my call the day I was "promised" my tile would be ready. Woke up on Saturday (I'm now at a contractor work stoppage) called at 10:00 and got a lovely cornucopia of excuses, from "we're just a showroom" to "we're not here every Saturday" and on to "well I'll have to find someone with keys who might know" seriously how does this place stay in business. Demanded refund and drove across I-45 to Floor and Decor. Big mistake trusting these guys. Seek your tile needs elsewhere. read more

We flooded in Harvey, so suddenly we had to rebuild our whole house and it was overwhelming. ProSource either has or can get EVERYTHING!!! And Mark Mitchell was insanely helpful!! I couldn't find anything to match our imported bathroom tile anywhere else, but they had it. I found beautiful but expensive hardware and backsplash tile online, Mark was able to get the exact items at a much lower price! We were short just one tile for our laundry room and he hooked me up THAT DAY at no cost. I am very indecisive and picky but Mark was very patient with me. I seriously can't say enough good things about both Mark and ProSource!! read more

I was guided to ProSource by my general contractor. My account manager is Bridget. She was helpful in picking out tile but that is all I can say. Their prices are definitely higher than Floor & Decor, Lowes, etc but theory is you are paying for design assistance and expertise. I have received NONE of the expertise one would expect. I chose quartz countertops and I knew their "slab" price was TWICE what I found at fab yards but it was the perfect color I wanted so I decided to pay twice the price. Little did I know, nor was warned, that their "slabs" aren't even close to same size of general slabs. I ordered 2 slabs which is what my contractor told me to order based on his many years of experience. On my estimate & order form it gave no measurements of these "slabs". Again leaves all of us assuming they are in line with slab sizes everywhere else. My fabricator picked them up and called us to say they were extremely small and we needed another slab. He sent picture showing me his table for a standard slab and ProSource's slab was almost half. Ok so this was a disgusting blow but I chalked it up to poor customer communication and had my contractor order another slab which added another $1,890 to my tab. Situation got worse when Bridget could never seem to get in touch with distributor to confirm if slab was in stock. Whether that is true or not, VERY unprofessional that she couldn't tell us for DAYS and this is holding up my job. She finally tells us there's a slab in Dallas so my contractor pays a fee to "expedite" slab to my fabricator. Slab doesn't show up after 2 days so we ask for a tracking number and guess what.... she "can't get in touch with logistics." At this point it's such pathetic customer service I believe she's being difficult or just that clueless. Who can't reach distributor OR logistics for DAYS? Then she sends text that she's leaving for weekend and sorry, maybe next week. All this and I'm also dealing with tile issues. I ordered thousands in material from them and my tile took 2 weeks to come in. Wasn't special tile, very common tile carried at Home Depot and Floor & Decor. Fine I waited and held up my job for 2 weeks but then imagine our surprise when she didn't remotely order enough grout for the job! 1 bag is all she ordered. My tile guy said he'd have to go try and find same grout at Floor & Decor to complete my job!! It's basic math of sq ft of tile vs amount of grout needed . She made the mistake with 2 different tile areas... kitchen and entry wall. Again holding up my job. I haven't received professional services and do NOT trust this job will be completed. Still have NO idea where my 3rd baby slab is with no hope of finding out any time soon. Meanwhile I have no kitchen and my contractor also now warned me my new slab might not match the other 2. If that happens, I can't use any of them and pray ProSource accepts responsibility and take them back. These are quartz manmade counter tops so I really hope the shades don't vary but I won't know since Bridget "can't get in touch with logistics" and find my slab. Point of all this is... pay half the price and go buy your materials from a Floor & Decor type of place and you get it right then, no waiting and they tell you CORRECT amount of grout you need and everything else you need to complete the job. I will NEVER use ProSource again and Bridget also has not apologized but places blame on us. I can assure you she hasn't offered us her "logistics " contact info so WE can get in touch. I do not believe her distributor NOR her logistics group are ignoring her calls. If so, they need to find new distributors!! read more

Steer clear of this company. They are the least professional company I have dealt with in a long time. A 3 month delay for a simple tile order with VERY poor communication as to why. Multiple delivery dates promised and missed. Seemingly to keep me from moving my $10k order elsewhere. Then the quartz slab is randomly shipped to another of their locations with no one taking responsibility or even being able to find it. Their response? We're sorry... No call from a manager. No attempt to atone for their constant mistakes. And the bottom line... they cost me more than they saved me after paying for contractor time idle or them running all over Houston chasing down items they have miss-shipped. read more

We purchased some vinyl flooring from ProSource through our contractor. It took a while to get our product but it finally arrived. The contractor installed our flooring but we ended up with five boxes left over which cost around $700.00. We tried to return the unused flooring, which was still in boxes, to ProSource. They refused to take them back giving some excuse that the manufacturer would not take them back and there was not enough for them to try to resale them. We were never told upfront that we could not return any left over boxes. Also, I later saw I could have beat their price through another company on the internet. Absolutely would never use this company again and would never recommend them to anyone. read more

Great selections but there are issues with store personnel. The Prosource person who ordered the tile messed up the order, which added several days to the job. The most aggravating thing about this is he did not take responsibility for this error, and did not try to do anything to expedite the order. His attitude seemed to be, oh well. I called the store manager several times leaving phone message to call me back to let him know that the order was shorted by 10 boxes of tile! The store manager never called me back. In addition, we used a contractor refered to us by the same Prosource person who didn't order enough tile. The results were absolutely terrible. About half the tiles will need to be replaced, because the tiles are grossly uneven. You could actually trip on some of the edges because of differeces in elevation between adjacent tiles. Our home is tore up, we can't move anything back to the room because the tile is messed up and needs rework. All the other rooms in the house now have overflow furniture etc from the room with the bad tile job. Our living conditions are cramped and very inconvenient. I will say though, although the contractor appears to be a very good person and promises to fix the tile. We will see how it goes. Hopefully our lives/living conditions we become normal again soon. This has been a nightmare. read more
