While in the midst of having our pool constructed, hubby and I went to Chair King to look at new patio furniture. Brian was the gentleman working. He was very knowledgeable about the different items (although we already knew what we wanted from looking at their website). He answered all of our questions, even though we stated we were not yet purchasing the furniture since we were still finishing our pool. When we finally had the pool taken care of, we went back and Brian was there. These guys work on commission, so show some love to the salesperson who helped you if, like us, you have to make multiple trips!! As discussed on our first visit, we were going to purchase that particular patio furniture and we were ready. Brian was helpful in getting the order placed, etc., although it did take some time to complete the transaction and a couple of items were on back order. YES, this place is pricey ... but after spending a pretty penny on a swimming pool, did I really want cheap junk on my patio? Um, no. This stuff has warranties on it, not like the junk you get a Garden Ridge. So, even though it's pricey, they are getting 5 stars because they were helpful and had exactly what I was looking for! read more

The manager put me at ease, and whilst I was doubtful the delivery would happen on time (other purchases, other places take no accountability for delivery), she vouched for their delivery service..... and it was right on time! read more

My husband and I found ourselves needing new outdoor patio furniture, a new gas grill and new bar height barstools after having our pool renovated and an outdoor living space constructed. We originally went into Chair King 'just to get an idea of what was "out there"'. We told each other we weren't going to buy anything because we 'were just looking'. Upon entering the store we were immediately greeted by Diane. (She has the warmest smile!) She asked us what we were shopping for, in which we told her 'everything'. She pointed out the store layout and let us browse, making sure we knew she was available for any questions we might have. Diane checked back in with us after we browsed for a bit. She wasn't pushy at all the entire time we were there. She was able to answer our questions and truly listened to our needs and ideas about what we wanted for our new outdoor living area. She led us to items she thought we'd like. She allowed us all the time we needed -which we appreciated. We must've spent 3-hours in the store shopping. I think we tried every sofa and chair in the store! She was patient with us and was very knowledgeable about her product & warranties. So much so that she was able to convince us that although Chair King's pricing is a bit more than big box stores, it is well worth the price. The old saying holds true with their product lines...that you get what you pay for. The workmanship, quality and warranty sold us! Before leaving we bought a full seating area with a fire-pit coffee table, a huge grill w/accessories, and 2 barstools. And, better yet, everything was on sale!!! Diane was wonderful, polite and truly acted like she cared about us and or needs. She never made us feel like we were a bother with our many questions or that we were just a paycheck for her. I highly recommend asking for Diane when you go in to buy your outdoor furniture, cushions, or umbrella. Oh, and, I called Diane back a month later to purchase 2 more of the barstools!!! The place to go when you want GREAT customer service! We walked into Chair King and were greeted very nicely by Bryan who asked if he could help us. As we were just browsing, he said that we could walk through and take our time and if we needed any help, he would be there to assist. It was nice as he wasn't following us around (even though they work on commission). Once we saw a set that we liked, we asked him a few questions, but also mentioned immediately that we were not going to buy anything the same day, as we still had to get rid of our old patio furniture. He still helped us in the same way as if we were to purchase something immediately - that was really nice. He gave us his business card and said that we could call if we needed any further information or assistance. A week or 2 later, we went back to purchase, but unfortunately Bryan was not there, but the assistant manager said that she would write the sale on him, as we he was the one that initially assisted us. She was extremely friendly and nice, explained all the terms and conditions as well as the delivery. Approx. 3 weeks later we noticed that the price had gone down. We went back and asked if there was anything they could do, and the assistant manager as well as Shea - the store manage said that it is not a problem and that they would honor the lower price (within 30 days). Every single sales associate that we encountered in this store has such a positive and friendly attitude, that it is a real pleasure to shop there! read more
